He Almost Told Her The Lundeen household is getting together for the first time since Dad died. It’s the perfect occasion for his ghost to return to tell his wife he loved her … something he neglected to tell her for 41 years. The problem is, Mom can't hear or see him, and besides, she’s invited a date for dinner. A NICE FAMILY GATHERING: CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS: CARL: 30’s -The middle brother. Carl is an aspiring writer who is currently working as a delivery truck driver. A good guy. Lacking direction at this time. MOM: 60’s loving and caring. She is struggling to deal with the loss of her husband and is showing signs of memory loss. DAD: 60’s Recently deceased. He visits the family at this gathering but is only seen and heard by his son, Carl. He wants to make sure that the family knows that he truly loves them all and he is sorry for never telling them. MICHAEL: 30’s The older brother. Michael is married to Jill and is a Doctor like his father. Struggling with financial issues and fertility issues. JILL: Late 20’s or early 30’s Sweet and emotional. Going through fertility issues. STACY: 20’s - early 30’s Sister to Michael and Carl. Has secrets to share at the gathering. Announces she is Gay and Pregnant. JERRY: 60’s - Family friend who might be interested in dating the Mom. Jokester MRS. ENQUIST: Next door neighbor. Never seen. Voiceover only. Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) is hiring a Technical Director, which is a core part of the CPT staff and will make a meaningful contribution to life at CPT and its success. CPT will be accepting applications for this position until the role is filled, with a start date goal between 1/1/22 and 2/15/22. TECHNICAL DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION CPT is hiring a Technical Director (TD). This role requires leadership and initiative and reports to the Executive Artistic Director (EAD). This is a senior staff role participating in leading the theatre and supporting the EAD in strategy and decision-making. The TD manages and implements all technical aspects of productions, except costumes, for CPT's season, consisting of 6-12 full productions, 2-4 new work development series, 2 multi-site special events, and other artistic projects. CPT programs in two theatres, various onsite studios, and occasionally produces work offsite in nontraditional spaces. The TD will lead the rebuilding of this department and will work with the EAD and the artistic department to grow capacity. For the 2021/2022 Season, the TD oversees and works with CPT's Technical Associate and a limited number of over-hire technicians to implement all sets, lighting, video, and sound installations. The TD is responsible for oversight of CPT's scene shop and technical equipment. The TD is also offered opportunities to work as a designer. Candidates must have four years full-time technical theatre work (or equivalent as a freelancer) with excellent technical skills in the following areas: sound technician, master electrician, and set construction. Expertise in some of the following skills is also a plus: sound design, lighting design/video design/implementation, and scenic design. The successful candidate will be collaborative, eager to learn new ways of working, service oriented, and highly self-motivated. Salary range is $46k to $54k, commensurate with experience. We have a local party/dance 80s-90s-00s cover band named Billy Likes Soda, looking for a dynamic & energetic male age 21-40 who might be interested in either a full- or part-time lead singing role with us. We were named Cleveland Magazine Best Cover Band 2018, Scene Magazine Best Cover Band 2019 Runner-Up & 2021 4th Place, and CityVoter Cleveland Hotlist 2020 Best Band Runner-Up. Holiday Jewelry Sale at Clague Playhouse

Clague Playhouse *12th Annual Jewelry Heist* *Nov. 5 - Dec. 18, 2021* If you or a friend need sparkly earrings for New Years Eve, a chunky necklace for that new sweater, or a colorful scarf for last year’s coat, come on over. We have more costume jewelry, scarves, handbags and other accessories this year than ever before, all sorted and cleaned and ready for your shopping pleasure. The Jewelry Sale will still be available as usual during the run of our Holiday play, *Ethan Claymore*, opening on November 5 and running through December 5 on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. There will be no performance or Jewelry Sale on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 25. The Sale will also be open for on Saturday afternoons, November 6 - December 18 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Because of continuing Covid concerns, we have not assembled volunteers to price each piece. We will have a cashier available to accept donations for whatever pieces you select. We are highly encouraging masks and will have disposable masks and vinyl gloves available. Clague Playhouse is certified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This jewelry sale is a major fundraiser. Clague Playhouse was closed for 18 months during which we were fortunate, with the help of generous donors, to cover maintenance expenses and be able to reopen. Attendance is not back to normal. We are hopeful that theater lovers will support us this year by coming in and purchasing some of our fabulous jewelry and continuing to drop off donations at the Clague Playhouse Box Office, located at 1371 Clague Road in Westlake. Heathers the Musical Auditions

MTC to Hold Auditions for Local Premiere of *Heathers the Musical* Youngstown, Ohio- The Millennial Theatre Company (MTC) is holding auditions for the local premiere of, *Heathers the Musical*, in collaboration with The Hopewell Theatre. Auditions will be held at The Hopewell Theatre in Youngstown (702 Mahoning Avenue, Youngstown, Ohio 44502) on November 11 from 6-9pm, November 12 from 6-9pm, and November 13 from 12-3pm. Rehearsals are slated to begin the week of November 15th. All performers will need to be vaccinated before rehearsals. Proof of vaccination will be required before the first rehearsal. Masks are required at all times at the auditions, except when performing. The production will be performed January 7-10 and 14-16 at The Hopewell Theatre in Youngstown Ohio, directed by Joe Asente. Auditioners (ages 16+) should prepare a 30-60 second cut of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist and bluetooth speaker will be provided. There will also be a cold read from the script. All roles are open. *Heathers the Musical*, based on the classic 1989 film, brings audiences to Westerberg High, a school ruled by a shoulder-padded, scrunchie-wearing junta: Heather, Heather and Heather, the hottest and cruelest girls in all of Ohio.
