Friends, the wait is finally over. Spooky plays in a creepy attic, vaudeville on the street, a musical in a bar, and 20+ other short performances in small spaces. Micro Theater CLE is taking over Tremont on Friday and Saturday from 7pm - 10pm. This is a free event and some of the spaces are seriously micro, so reservations are encouraged. But if you just show up at the northwest corner of 10th and Literary at 7pm, we'll squeeze you in. At Micro Theater we produce free pop-up festivals of short performances in small spaces. See a few shows in an evening with time in between to have a beer with friends, neighbors, artists, and fellow humans. We did this to celebrate our vibrant creative community, make space for DIY performance, and have fun with our friends. Come hang out on Friday and Saturday, we'd love to see you. By 1912, she was the object of ruthless gossip over an alleged affair with the married Frenchman Paul Langevin, all but erasing her achievements from public memory. Weakened and demoralized by the press lambasting her as a “foreign” Jewish temptress and a homewrecking traitor, Marie agrees to join her friend and colleague Hertha Ayrton, an electromechanical engineer and suffragette, at her summer home in England. *The Half-Life of Marie Curie* revels in the power of female friendship as it explores the relationship between these two brilliant women, both of whom are mothers, widows, and fearless champions of scientific inquiry.*“A fast-paced, frisky, feminist crowd pleaser…80 minutes of wit and wisdom powered by two turn-of-the-century female STEM stars…a powerhouse theatrical opportunity for two, middle-aged actresses.”* *Characters:* 2 women*MARIE CURIE:* 40 – 50 yr. of age. The holidays are quickly performing and we are looking for some Ohio voice actors to help us spread some Christmas cheer as this year’s performer as Bruce the Spruce, the Magical Christmas Tree! Similar to Disney Parks shows like “Crush’s Turtle Talk” and “Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor”, this opportunity will have our performers brining the character of Bruce the Spruce to life through voice acting and improvisation with families visiting him at Tower City Center. This family friendly pop up engagement is a special opportunity that we are looking for some performers to rotate into the role throughout the holiday weekends.
