Coble’s script, with help from the talented Seat of the Pants’ cast and creatives, emulates the ever-increasing anticipation one feels when waiting for something to explode–and when it does, the power of the eruption will leave you wide eyed and in awe." (Gwendolyn Kochur, Cleveland Scene)* Seat of the Pants' final show of the 2024-2025 season is the world premiere of a fascinating new play by Cleveland-based Tony-, Emmy-, and Pulitzer-nominated playwright, Eric Coble. We have been developing and workshopping this play since its inception two and a half years ago, and we're thrilled finally to bring a full production into existence. In the face of an oncoming natural disaster, a family gathers at their childhood home in the mountains of Colorado. As the clock ticks, old wounds open and new opportunities for connection arise, even as mysterious omens encroach from the surrounding woods. Amidst laughter, tears, and unexpected outbursts, the clan is forced to confront who and what is worth saving when the end draws near. Co-directed by Anne McEvoy and Craig Joseph, produced by Abraham Adams, the production stars Courtney Brown*, Samantha Cocco, Jacki Dietz, Fabio Polanco*, Juliette Regnier, and Neda Spears. Charlene Hartley stage manages, with scenic design by Ron Newell, costume design by Abbie Hagen, sound design by Maggie Hamilton, lighting design by Ayron Lord, props design by Erin Ocampo, carpentry by Don Moran, and fight direction by Michael Glavan. An associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC), she has also directed and choreographed productions for educational institutions and youth organizations throughout Northeast Ohio, with a passion for creating joyful, empowering spaces for artists of all levels.

Announcing the 2025 Imposters Mainstage Sketch Show! This July, we are reviewing submission packets and auditioning actors for a brand new monthly Imposters Mainstage Sketch Show! The three-month run of shows will begin in September. Writer submission packets are due July 16th, 2025 by 5 PM. Your submission packet should include 2-3 sketches and be a maximum of 15 pages in pdf format. At least 2 sketches should be written for the stage. To remain anonymous from our submission reviewers,* please exclude your name from the contents of your submission packet.* The file name should include your first and last name. Your submission will be reviewed by the artistic director, show director, and industry professionals.
