I am seeking to borrow a really nice soprano recorder for a performance in the beginning of March. I see many online which I can buy for a few dollars, but there are some which cost upwards of $300. I don't need to own one this nice, but I would like to borrow one for a song our Middle School choir is singing on March 9th. I am hoping to have a lovely rich tone which can't be achieved with the plastic recorder I've been using in rehearsal. Jonathan Kingham & Ryan Shea Smith "Songwriting Made Simple" Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10 a.m. Free Cirigliano Studio Theatre With their diverse musical styles, connection to the audience and the songwriters of all ages they write with here at LCCC, this concert will be all about great songs. These Nashville transplants have had long and successful careers as singer/songwriters. Jonathan Kingham must be doing something right. In his first few years on the scene, he quickly developed into a seasoned performer while sharing the stage with the likes of Shawn Colvin, Joan Osborne, Michael McDonald, Doug Stone, Vanessa Carlton, and Jonatha Brooke. He has toured with such diverse acts as Julio Iglesias Jr. and currently plays keyboard and guitar for the rock band Toad the Wet Sprocket. But it's not only his live performances that are winning him fans and accolades. He took first place honors in the National Telluride Troubadour Songwriting Contest, The Unisong International Song Contest, as well as placing two years in a row in the top five of the John Lennon Song contest. He brought home the First Place Award in the USA Songwriting Competition in the Folk Category as well as the Overall Grand Prize out of a worldwide field of 33,000 entries and was awarded First Place in the Gospel category of the ISC songwriting contest. Winter/Spring auditions are here and are you prepared? Dr. Christopher Hutton, Baritone, is taking new voice students and excited to get you physically and mentally prepared for auditions and performances. Dr. Hutton has a Masters Degree and Doctorate of Music Arts degrees in Vocal Pedagogy (Science of Singing) from Arizona State University, and is fluent in teaching both belting/music theatre technique and classical technique. Christopher attended Youngstown State University where he received his Bachelors in Voice Performance. He has also performed opera at regional opera houses for over thirteen years. GOD OF CARNAGE opens at Twin Masks February 1st!!

Twin Masks Performing Arts Center (TMPAC) located in the heart of Twinsburg, at 9076 Church Street, is proud to announce its opening show for its second season, opening Friday February 1: God of Carnage, written by Yasmina Reza, as translated by Christopher Hampton. THE STORY: A playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters. The show is directed by Katharine Tonti and cast includes Alex Nine, Christine Wright, Jenny Barrett and Chris Macchione. *Please note the show contains adult language and adult themes. One of the characters in the show also experiences projectile vomiting during the performance. Show is performed without an intermission.* Performance dates are Friday and Saturday nights at 8pm. Performance dates are February 1, 2, 8, 9, 15 and 16. Tickets are $15.00 for Adults and $10.00 for Seniors (aged 60 and older) and $10.00 for Students.
