He worked with Suruwath Theatre Company as an artist, which he established on April 20, 2011. His goal was to bring social awareness to the community and preserve the Nepali culture. His interest in the arts drives him to perform. He also wants to share the arts with other people so they know what it is to love the arts and do creative things. Not only is he passionate about theatre, he’s passionate about sports too. ABOUT THE EMCEE: AaRron Epps joined BMe as Acting Community Manager in Akron where he leads efforts in building caring and prosperous communities. Epps is a certified facilitator for the "Ice House Entrepreneur Program" and "Thinking for a Change" a cognitive-based learning program for ex- offenders. Epps was recruited to be a speaker at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He spent two semesters facilitating a workshop about the early influences of “Hip Hop” and how teachers can use this information to get in better contact with students. Epps has over ten years of experience of working with at-risk youth and ex-offenders. He is the founder of the SAC Program, which is focused on building and sustaining the city of Akron through community building, entrepreneurship and black male achievement. FULL CIRCLE STORYTELLING MISSION STATEMENT: Full Circle is a successful monthly storytelling event open to the community. Telling their own true tales, Akronites place themselves at the center of their own life journeys. We use the art of narrative to ignite understanding between diverse peoples, building bridges– not walls– within our community.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) is casting children ages 7-13, of all races and ethnicities, for its 2017 production of A Christmas Story, directed by John McCluggage. All positions are paid. Auditions are by appointment only. For BOYS AND GIRLS: Auditions will be held FRIDAY AUGUST 4TH from 5:30pm-8:30-pm & SATURDAY AUGUST 5th from 10:00am-2:00pm. FINAL CALLBACKS: will be held on SATURDAY AUGUST 5th from 3:00pm-6:00p.m. Auditions will take place in CPH’s rehearsal spaces, located on the fifth floor of the Middough Building, at 1901 East 13th Street in Downtown Cleveland. Performers will audition with sides from the script, which will be sent when an appointment is set. Please note that children who will be 13 or older on 12/24/17 are ineligible to audition. Rehearsals begin on Tuesday, October 31st, and will be held after school and on weekends, Tuesday-Sunday. The week of November 20th rehearsals will be during school hours. There will be no rehearsal on Thanksgiving Day. Performances are 8 shows a week from Nov. 24th - Dec. 23rd. Children will miss part or all of ten (10) school days for rehearsal and performances. Characters: Ralphie – (9-13) Obsessed with planting the seeds to assure the ultimate Christmas present: a genuine Red Ryder BB gun. Has a wild imagination, is unsure of his feelings for Esther Jane, and is persistent, curious, and dramatic. Flick – (9-13, any race/ethnicity) One of Ralphie’s best friends. A follower who is easy to pick on. Can’t resist the triple dog dare and gets his tongue stuck to a lamppost. Has a sore arm. Also plays a Desperado. Schwartz – (9-13, any race/ethnicity) Another of Ralphie’s buddies. He likes trouble. He’s a little more on the ball than Flick and gets him to do things he probably shouldn’t. Also plays a Desperado. Esther Jane – (9-13, any race/ethnicity) Has a crush on Ralphie. Sweet, girly and likeable. Best friends with Helen. Helen – (9-13, any race/ethnicity) Smartest girl in class. Likes to talk politics and gossip. Best friends with Esther Jane. Randy – (7-10) Ralphie’s mischievous little brother who has a true fascination with Santa. Has to use the restroom at inopportune times. Ability to focus and to be still a plus. Scut Farkus – (10-13) The neighborhood bully with a chicken heart. Also plays Black Bart.
