The people knew no other way–they saw by the stars and the beauty of the Northern Lights…but after a visit from wise and wily Raven, a young boy becomes curious to see if there is more. New Performing Arts Camp = The Perfect Gift for your Student!

Registration is still open for the new performing arts camp hosted by the Brush Vocal Music Department, Camp S.T.A.R.D.O.M. (S-tudents in T-he A-rts R-eaching for their D-reams O-f M-usic) taking place on Saturday, January 7th, 2017. Camp S.T.A.R.D.O.M. is a one-day performing arts camp open to students Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Campers will partner with a High School member of one of the three Brush Choirs for a day of Voice, Dance, and Acting Workshops. The day also includes lunch. The following weekend campers perform onstage at the 2017 Brush Choral Festival on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at 6:00pm. Especially seeking proficient pianists. *Job Description* The Band Director will conduct a small student ensemble that accompanies Brush High School "Soundsation" Show Choir (In Lyndhurst, Ohio) at all 2017 performances and competitions. Rehearsals are on Monday and/or Wednesday nights from 6:00-9:00pm starting on Wednesday, January 4. The ideal candidate will be a skilled musician that can play the piano. Must also have reliable transportation.There is a *small* stipend to be paid at the *end of the 2016-2017 school year*. Cleveland Ballet offers Professional and Advanced Level Technique Classes

Cleveland Ballet is delighted to offer Professional and Advanced Level Technique Master Classes. Classes will be offered on Tuesday, December 26; Wednesday, December 27; and Thursday, December 28 at Cleveland Ballet Studios in Bedford Heights. Classes will be taught by Artistic Director, Gladisa Guadalupe and Associate Artistic Director of the Youth Company, Tuni Deignan. These classes are recommended for all advanced level students ages 12+, and are open to any dancers in the greater Cleveland area who is looking to keep up their technique during the holiday season. NEEDED STAGE MANAGER AT CSA The Cleveland School of the Arts (CSA) is in need of an experienced stage manager for its annual Festival of New Works (funded by the CSA Board of Trustees). The Festival of New Works features original works by CSA high school student playwrights, composers, filmmakers, poets, and dancers. Responsibilities of the Stage Manager include: Participate in planning of all technical and performance elements of the Festival of New Works. Supervise all technical rehearsals for performance events (plays, dance pieces, musical performances, choreo-poems). Supervise Assistant Stage Mangers as they assist running technical rehearsals and performances of performance events. Work closely with student artists and CSA staff and report to the co-producers of the Festival of New Works. Rehearsal Dates and Times: February 13, 2017 to March 6, 2017 (Monday through Saturday). 8:30 am to 5:30 pm. (Note: This is the maximum commitment. Call times will vary depending on the day.) Performance Dates: School Shows: Tuesday through Friday, March 7, 8, 9 and 10, 2017: 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. Public Shows: Thursday and Friday, March 9 and March 10, 2017: 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm.
