Position begins as early as July 1 (no later than July 31) and ends ideally September 20, 2023 (could be part time between September 9 and 20). Salary range is $750-850/week based on experience and range of skills. This role reports to the Associate Producer. PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE As a member of our production team, the PA stage manages and line produces the annual outdoor festival Arts in August in Tremont. They will also be a key member in producing Pandemonium, CPT’s renowned fundraiser and “party-of the-year.” This work will range from artist communication, basic production work, décor and crafting, and a range of other tasks. Candidates must have stage management and production experience. The successful candidate will be collaborative, service-oriented, highly self-motivated, and eager to learn new ways of working. This position requires evening and weekend availability and an average of 50 hours per week. A valid driver’s license is also required, and regular access to a vehicle is strongly preferred. This role reports to the Technical Director (TD). This role participates in leading the theatre and supporting the EAD in strategy and decision-making. The ATD works with the TD to implement all technical aspects of productions, except costumes, for CPT's season, consisting of 6-12 full productions, 2-4 new work development series, 2 multi-site special events, and other artistic projects. CPT programs in two theatres, various onsite studios, and occasionally produces work offsite in nontraditional spaces. The ATD is responsible for maintaining the scene shop and technical equipment. While candidates must have experience in theatrical set building, they must be able to read and hang a light plot and have expertise in some of the following skills is also a plus: sound set up and lighting design/video design/implementation. Show Dates: January 24-February 16, 2024 The Story: After firing one of their founding members due to his erratic behavior, a world-class string quartet takes a chance on a gifted but relatively inexperienced young woman. With only a few days to rehearse a grueling Beethoven masterpiece, the four struggle to prepare their highest-profile performance ever—a televised ceremony at the White House. Their rehearsal room becomes a pressure-cooker as passions rise, personalities clash, and the players are forced to confront the ephemeral nature of their life’s work. Recipient of the Barrymore Award for Outstanding New Play, a Steinberg New Play Citation from the American Theatre Critics Association, and nominations for Lucille Lortel and John Gassner Awards for Best New Play. *Ensemble Theatre will be offering the 8th year of our FREE Summer Performing Arts Camp!* This year’s camp will run from *June 17th to June 28th.* Campers will present a final performance Saturday June 29th! *Ensemble Theatre’s Summer Performing Arts Camp* is a* FREE TWO WEEK CAMP* offered to students in the 5th-8th grade (or ages 10-13) who attend Cuyahoga County Schools (or are homeschooled and residents of Cuyahoga County)! The FIVE dwarves don't need help with cooking or cleaning, so they hand Snow White a plunger and put her to work. When the wicked Queen, disguised in Groucho glasses, tries to finish her off, a quick response from Prince Heimlich saves her, and the day! Cast size is 8-10 characters. Rehearsals for *Snow White Lite* will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6:30 pm starting on Monday, May 2, 2022. 13-17 year olds will present *The Great American Talent Show*. It is the final night of the yearlong TV talent show to end all talent shows!
