"No two children grow up in the same household." Auditions Monday, July 10 and Tuesday, July 11, from 7-9 p.m. at Arlene's Broadway on Buffalo, 236 Buffalo Street, Conneaut. Roles are available for four women (mixed ages 20-70) and one man (age 20-40). In *Fight Nice,* an original play, estranged adult sisters struggle to care for their aging mother. After Olivia, a social worker, is arrested on a drug-related charge, she reluctantly agrees to stay with her attorney sister Margo and Margo's wife Kendrah. Their brother takes drastic steps to protect the family--sparking revelations about the past and spurring the sisters toward an uneasy truce. This stark drama explores how conflicting perspectives inform our approaches toward love and caring. Written by Douglas Eric Anderson and directed by Sydne Nielsen, *Fight Nice* debuts at Arlene's Broadway on Buffalo on Friday, August 25 and runs for one weekend only. Friday and Saturday performances start at 7:30 p.m. and a Sunday performance at 2:30 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door. Arlene’s Broadway on Buffalo ("ABOB") is a hometown community theater in a repurposed pre-1900 church building in Conneaut, Ohio. WILLOW'S EDGE CREATIONS is seeking the following musicians for their upcoming production of: *Jesus Christ Superstar* 1. Rehearsal pianist that can also play in the production *** HIGHEST PRIORITY TO FIND*** 2. 2nd keyboardist to play in show (synthesizer sounds needed) 3. Bassist 4. Drummer Rehearsals start August 14th (music starts August 21st) and the show opens September 21st. Rehearsals run from 6:30-9:00/9:30 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays and occasional Saturday mornings from 10-1. *We would ask musicians to only be there once or twice during the initial rehearsal process UNTIL tech week September 17,18,19,20 (Show opening on September 21st) * The production runs for 3 weekends Thursday, Friday and Saturday Nights! The Broadview Heights Spotlights will hold auditions for* Disney's Finding Nemo, Jr. *on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 1:00PM – 4:30PM. This youth production (Ages 10 – 18) is audition-based and does not have a registration fee. It will rehearse on weekends and select weeknights from July 24 – September 14, based on cast availability. It will be directed by Spotlights’ Education Director, Tim Anderson, with music direction by Ryan Bergeron. The show runs on weekends, September 15 – 24. Auditioners should prepare a brief song from a Disney movie or other animated feature and bring sheet music in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided. Bring a list of conflicts between July 24 and September 24.
