Cleveland's freshest unscripted fantasy storytelling show is looking for heroes, villains, and assorted ne'er-do-wells to add to its cast. Part RPG, part improv comedy, part choose-your-own adventure, Worldbuilder is a show in which the audience and the players work together to create a fantastical narrative journey. Your quest will begin Saturday July 8 at 12 noon at Imposters Theater with an opportunity to meet and play with current cast members. Those invited to join the troupe must be available to rehearse weekly on Saturdays from 11 to 1. Fairies, sorceresses and warrior princesses are particularly encouraged to enlist. Finding Nemo Jr. with Talespinner Children's Theatre still has roles available for children ages 11-14 and ages 7-10, as well as scholarships to offset the cost of the tuition. Camp runs 9 am to 4 pm July 29 through August 11 with performances on August 12th. Every child enrolled in the camp will be cast, the show is being directed by Matt Loehrke, with choreography and music direction by Heather Utsler-Smith. Inspired by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, All Shook Up follows a small Midwestern town that is thrown into a frenzy with the arrival of Chad, a good-looking, motorcycle-riding roustabout, who rides from town to town with a guitar on his back, blue suede shoes on his feet, and a song in his heart. Repressed by their conservative mayor, the town begins to come alive once more under Chad’s influence. Lovers meet, woo, pursue, and more, all in one zany night that will change the town forever. All Shook Up is a rocking, heartwarming tale about following dreams, opening up to love, and the power of music.
