Voice Acting 101 - Spring, 2023 If you live in Northeast Ohio and would like to start your Voice Acting career on the right foot, Dan Popp's Voice Acting 101 class will put you on the path to developing marketable skills. It's 12 hours of coaching from a 35-year veteran in voice acting. The new home of Imposters theater will be at 4828 Lorain Ave., in Cleveland. The Grand Opening weekend will begin on Friday, March 3rd at 7PM with two big comedy shows featuring some of our favorite sketch, improv, and stand-up comedy at Imposters Theater. Saturday’s lineup will feature the debut of our Main Stage Sketch Show at 7PM and a Stand-up Comedy Showcase at 9:30PM. “I am so excited to have everyone come and see not only our new theater space, but also the amazing talent we have here in Cleveland,” stated Imposters Theater Founder and Creative Director, Michael Busch. “This new space is going to help us continue to foster the talents of our comedic community and allow us to have the room to get bigger and better.” Imposters Theater’s new home features a 40 seat theater space, with a full stage and audio/visual capabilities. Two Faces of Jane, a mental health 501c3 nonprofit, will be presenting *People, Places and Things* by Duncan MacMillan at the Kennedy Theatre at Playhouse Square June 22 - July 2, directed by Sean Derry of none too fragile theatre <https://www.nonetoofragile.com/>. Auditions for *Free to be You and Me* by Marlo Thomas and friends, will be Saturday March 4th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Workshop Players Theatre, 44820 Middle Ridge Road, Amherst. More auditions will be held on Monday March 6th from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. if needed. Director Justin Bilewicz and music Director Marci Saxton are looking to cast around 10 individuals. All genders and body types considered for the cast. Music auditions info: Prepare a song(s) in the style of contemporary musicals *after 1968*. Must have piano and vocal music. The Qualities of Movement: Moulding, Floating, Flying, and Radiating, are foundational. Corresponding to earth, water, air, and fire, we embody these forces to find the How of What we’re doing. “Action with qualities is the easiest way to the living feelings.” What can we uncover through Michael Chekhov’s exploratory, improvisational processes to apply to our own performance work?
