One More Reminder of CPH's Fire Sale!

Due to some limitations put on Cleveland Play House's props storage by the fire marshal, we're getting rid of some of our stock, mostly furniture. What's left right now is plenty of theatrical fridges, some couches, desks, tables, and chairs, which will require some love to come back to life. Take it for yourself, your theatre, upcycling, anything you can think of. It's all free, but we are accepting donations that will go towards improving our storage. Feel free to stop by the Production Center (7401 Detour Avenue) from 10am to 3pm today and Friday (May 26th and 27th) to take a look. Please bring transportation, as we will be opening this up to the community the following week. Check in when you arrive with Reynard in the front office and he will show you back to where we have everything. Spark Theatre and Lorain County Community College is hiring camp counselors

Spark Theatre Company and Lorain County Community College are partnering on an all-new performing arts camp for students ages 8-18. Students enjoy classes in acting, music, and dance while working to create their own final performance piece. Additionally, campers get to experience workshops from area professionals in technical theatre disciplines including lighting design, set design, and costuming for a well-rounded theatre experience. Spark and LCCC are seeking 1-2 more counselors for July 11th-22nd. Counselors will need to be available Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm and will supervise campers and assist students in their classes and performance. Pay is $300/week for a total stipend of $600. No previous experience is required, but experience in theatre and/or working with students is a plus. Cleveland Dance Project is seeking choreographers who want to work with our all level adult family to create a short work for our season 10 showcase! Choreographers will hold weekly 90 minute rehearsals (arranged and paid for by CDP) culminating in two shows on Dec 3. We are especially seeking choreographers willing to work with all levels of dancers, in any and all styles of dance. *After a long hiatus, Ensemble Theatre is excited to announce its residency at Notre Dame College in South Euclid! * After spending the last couple of years navigating the COVID-19 pandemic as well as changing locations, *the staff and board of Ensemble Theatre* are excited to announce our *new residency* on the campus of *Notre Dame College in South Euclid!!! * *"Both my mother and I graduated from Regina Highschool, so in a lot of ways I am returning to the "stage" where a lot of this began for both of us!" -Celeste Cosentino, Executive Artistic Director * Celeste Cosentino is the Executive Artistic Director of Ensemble which has served audiences in Northeast Ohio for over 40 years. The small professional theatre, founded by her late mother the year after she was born, has navigated this world alongside her in so many ways!
