Come experience this crazy combination of sci-fi fun, disco music, all-star talent, and LOTS of glitter...all while supporting a great cause. Our all-star cast (Leslie Andrews, Tricia Bestic *, Patrick Ciamacco, Amiee Collier, Dan Folino *, Neely Gevaart, Mike Majer, Pat Miller, and Matthew Ryan Thompson) will have you laughing in your seat! Our rockin' band (Gregory Cross, Tim Keo, Butch Marshall and Christopher Zanella) will bring you back to the age of disco and have you dancing in the aisles! Music Engineer Needed ASAP!

Seeking a music engineer who can come onto a music project as a recording engineer with deferred payment or on pro bono terms. The task is to record a short snippet for a pop artist being considered for a film score / soundtrack. We already have pre-recorded track and everyone is coming on pro bono (artist, producer, etc.) Our intention is to get a great product to the music coordinator of the film, as we have an inside track. Wandering Aesthetics in collaboration with ANTIC Community Theatre Presents… “The Boiling Point” Play Reading and Discussion The Scarlet Pimpernel adapted by April Helms Wandering Aesthetics and ANTIC Community Theatre are proud to announce The Scarlet Pimpernel, adapted by Record Publishing’s April Helms from the classic novel by Baroness Emma Orczy, as the next play in The Boiling Point: Akron’s Alternative Play Reading Series. The Scarlet Pimpernel will be read on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 7 pm in the Newell Theater on the third floor of Quirk Cultural Center located at 1201 Grant Ave in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The Boiling Point is open to the public. Anyone may come and read a part or simply listen and join the discussion afterwards. There is a $5 suggested donation. April has taken playwriting classes and workshops, and dabbled in the art, but this is her first serious effort at a play. Other interests include acting, music, reading and painting. About The Boiling Point: The Boiling Point is that wild moment where internal pressures surpass outer, triggering a transformation. “Alternative” plays serve as our fuel to ignite the minds of Akronites. By reading a diverse array of texts, we set ablaze different genres, aesthetics and cultures– especially those works beyond the scope of traditional American theatre. Beck Center for the Arts Presents Red Stage Summer Music Series Hillbilly IDOL - Wednesday, August 26th, 6:30pm to 8:30pm [Hillbilly Idol] We've got a little red stage on our front patio....and we're gonna use it! Beck Center for the Arts is proud to present an eclectic, highly entertaining series of outdoor evening music concerts<http://www.beckcenter.org/events/red-stage-summer-music-series/>. Join us and take in the sounds of some of Northeast Ohio's best musicians, playing styles such as Latin jazz, honky tonk, Americana, Gypsy jazz, roots rock, and more!
