Be sure to arrive in time to take part in the easy jitterbug lesson from 8pm to 9pm with Jim Macmillan and Valerie Salstrom (owner of Get Hep Swing) Immediately after the lesson (at 9 PM) Jessy Carolina & The Hot Mess from New York City will kick off an awesome night of music and swing dancing until 12am. Check 'em out at http://www.jessycarolinahotmess.com/! Yelp will be there and they are bringing loads of goodies for us! One of the best treats they are bringing is professional makeup artist Erin Thomas who will be doing free mini makeovers for either your eyes or lips. How sweet is that? It’s super sweet! Erin is VERY good at her craft! Everyone is welcome to come and have fun with us at the swing dance. There is no need to have previous dance experience or a dance partner. The cost of the dance is $12 per person or $10 for students and seniors with a valid ID. If you are brand new to the Get Hep Swing dances you may attend for only $5 your first time. Most people dress casually, but NOT for this dance! People are gonna be a little fancy for this special event. The best shoes to wear are comfortable and not too sticky on the bottom. As the cast performs "Prepare Ye The Way Of The Lord," "Learn Your Lessons Well," "All For The Best," "All Good Gifts," "Turn Back, O Man" and "By My Side," the parables of Jesus Christ come humanly and hearteningly to life. *Character Breakdown* *Godspell *is an ENSEMBLE show, and with the exception of Jesus who acts mainly as a facilitator and less of a performer there are no leads.
