A stellar cast has taken over Workshop’s stage in order to present a unique and much loved show … Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward! Under the able direction of Dave MacKeigan, the cast of Jonathan McCleery, Deb Burrow, Judy MacKeigan, Kristina Rivera, Becky Linder, Kevin Boland and Elizabeth Flood will leave you in stitches. This classic play, originally written and professionally produced in the 1940s, never fails to tickle audiences with its unusual twists and turns. Charles Condomine finds himself a a real pickle post seance when his sexy, yet dead, wife suddenly appears and refuses to go away. His current wife, none too pleased with the triangle demands that he get rid of her. That proves easier said than done and the hilarity that ensues is well worth the price of admission. Stow Players announces auditions for their Holiday Show: "Babes in Toyland" October 29 --- 3:00-5:00 pm October 30 --- 6:30-7:30 pm Heritage Barn - Young Rd. entrance to the back of Silver Springs Park Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script; however, if a monologue is prepared, the directors will be glad to hear it. This is NOT a musical, so no singing or dancing is required. This is an all-youth production (ages 7-17), and only actors who can cooperate backstage without parental supervision can participate. Parents may be asked to help with various production responsibilities. Rehearsals will be held Monday-Thursday, 6:30-8:30 pm, beginning November 6, and possibly a few Saturdays. Performances December 7-8-9, 15-16 - 7:30 pm; December 10 & 17 - 2:30 pm Production directed by Pat Robertell-Hudson and Samantha Gates. Questions? This is such a wonderful way to give back to the community and see Cleveland’s wonderful actors at the same time. This year will be very exciting as it will be Cleveland’s 2nd Annual Event. It will be the fifth year that MEALS 4 MONOLOGUES will be a nationwide Casting Society of America event, with casting offices throughout the country participating, and the 12th year for Chicago & New York City. This is a charity event sponsored by The Casting Society of America created to benefit local-area food banks. Our goal is to make this a nationwide event with CSA Offices in All our markets participating We will be devoting a full day to seeing all the actors that want to participate. We will audition everyone who brings in 2 non-perishable food items for our food drive.
