**NEW CLASS OFFERING** Tai Chi Institute USA is pleased to announce 2 new beginner classes to be held at Namaste Yoga Studio, 9293 Olde Eight Road, Northfield, OH 44067. The classes are every Tuesday from 5:30 – 6:30 pm and Saturday’s from 10:30-11:30 am. No experience is necessary. Our new beginner classes start Tuesday, October 3rd and Saturday, October 7th. ~The Movement of Life~ is a unique program suitable for all ages blending the healing qualities of Tai Chi Chuan, Qi Gong, Meditation, Shaolin Kung Fu and Acupressure to fine tune and recharge your mental, physical and spiritual health. Physical benefits may include improved posture, balance and flexibility, added strength and endurance, an improved digestive system, increased muscle and bone density, normalized metabolism, weight loss and a stronger immune system. Mask artist needed for production of Jungle Book at Lake Erie College

The upcoming Fall play here at Lake Erie College is THE JUNGLE BOOK by Tracey Power Adapted from the novel by Rudyard Kipling. And we hope to find a mask-making artist who can make original animal masks for the lead characters. We have a stipend available. THE JUNGLE BOOK is a beloved children's story about the adventures of Mowgli and his animal family in the jungles of India. This is a family friendly play. Many will know the famous Disney versions, but this a more dramatic version, adapted especially for the stage. Roles include: Mowgli--the boy raised by wolves Father Wolf--leads the wolf pack Baloo-a bear who is Mowgli's teacher Bagheera--a panther who is one of Mowgli's friends Shere Khan--a tiger who is hunting Mowgli Tabaqui--a jackal who is Shere Khan's lackey Raksha--Mother Wolf who raises Mowgli Monkey King--lives for fun and anarchy various monkeys, wolves, and extras The performances will be November 9-12 & Nov 16-19, including both evening and matinee performances. Nordonia High School to present Midsummer!

The Nordonia High School Drama Club will present William Shakespeare’s *A Midsummer Night’s Dream* as this year’s fall play production. The Drama Club is excited to take on their first Shakespeare production with *Midsummer*, easily one of the bard’s most famous comedies. Directed by Nordonia’s Director of Drama, Chris Simmons, with the assistance of Dane Leasure, *Midsummer* will be presented in the round, with the audience seated on the stage with the actors. *Performances for Midsummer are: Friday and Saturday, October 27th and 28th, at 7:00 PM and Sunday, October 29th, at 3:00 PM, in the high school auditorium. * Due to the audience configuration, seating will be limited for each performance. While tickets will be available at the door, it is recommended that you reserve them ahead of time. LCCC’s Stocker Arts Center Hosts “Guitars for Girls” “Guitars for Girls” will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11 at the Hoke Theatre of Stocker Arts Center at Lorain County Community College. “Guitars for Girls” is a benefit fundraiser concert for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. The event is brought to you by Cleveland's Country 99.5 WGAR, Lorain County Community College and Metro Lexus. Guests will enjoy an up-close and personal acoustic show with Kane Brown, RaeLynn and Carly Pearce. Brown was just a shy teenager when he began posting videos of himself singing cover songs online. Growing up in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia–a small town just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee–the classic country songs he covered were comfortable territory for the young singer, whose deep drawl will immediately garner comparisons to Josh Turner and Chris Young. Once his cover songs began racking up views, transitioning into songwriting was a natural next step. Following up on the success of her 2014 gold-certified debut single “God Made Girls” comes the release of RaeLynn's Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville debut album "WildHorse." On “WildHorse,” listeners hear that same warmth and accessibility and sense the same buoyant personality that ushered her into the spotlight on NBC’s “The Voice.” Born into the bluegrass brawn of Kentucky, Pearce has never known a moment that country music wasn’t her path. At age 11 she began touring with a small band and by 16 was performing at Dollywood. Over the past eight years in Nashville, the CMT “Next Women of Country” alum has been blazing her own trail with the depth of her songwriting. She has had more than 35 invitations to play the Grand Ole Opry and joining the bill with notable artists such as Martina McBride, Kip Moore, Cole Swindell, Eli Young Band, Hunter Hayes and Lucy Hale of “Pretty Little Liars.” In 2016, she celebrated her first “Top 40” hit “Wasn’t That Drunk,” a collaboration with Josh Abbott Band. We are looking for people to appear as recognizable rock stars for an outdoor event at the Rocksino on October 18, 2017. You would need to be available for a fitting prior to the event as well as on October 18th from 11:30-4:30. This is for the opening of Rocksino's gas station. You would be posing and milling with customers. The payment is $300.00.
