Hello! I am looking for male and female models in their late teens to early 30s of all colors, shapes, and sizes to walk in a fashion show for the inaugural issue of my wedding magazine, Northeast Ohio Weddings Magazine. We will be having a wedding showcase with amazing vendors, food, entertainment and a fashion show of wedding gowns by the talented students of Kent State fashion department, bridesmaids gowns and grooms and groomsmen‘s tuxes which will be provided by American Commodore. The showcase is Sunday, March 3 from 11 till 5. The fashion show time commitment would be from about 1 until three plus a fitting and a practice. There is no pay, but you and a guest could come to the show and taste and sample and enjoy all that the wedding show has to offer as my guest. Wansley, CPH Artistic Directing Fellow In this class, students will attend five productions at Cleveland Play House and engage with the plays as theatre journalists - conducting interviews with artists and writing features and reviews. In pre-show workshops, students will participate in hands-on theater making activities, learn more about the careers available in theater, and develop their voices as writers through peer-edited writing projects. As a culminating project, the class will collaboratively design and create their own theater blog and publish their writing from the semester. The Dancing Wheels Company, Cleveland-based and America’s first, professional, physically integrated dance company, now in its 38th anniversary season, seeks to hire qualified male and female dancers with and without disabilities for the 2019-2020 season. There is an immediate opening for a male dancer and a wheelchair dancer*. The Dancing Wheels Company is a national touring company that works with highly acclaimed choreographers each year. Most recent works include full-length pieces from Donald McKayle, Dianne McIntyre, Nai-Ni Chen, Christopher Fleming, Michael Uthoff, Peter Kalivis, David Rousseve and David Dorfman to name a few. The 12 member ensemble trains together with both stand-up and sit-down wheelchair dancers in an equitable and accessible environment giving equal opportunity for training and employment for all.
