Needed: Volunteer Victim Role Players for Mass Casualty Drill at Hopkins Airport

Hopkins Airport is having there Tri-annual Mass Casualty Drill on Friday, September 14, 2018. Call time for victim actors is 6 AM for prep and prestaging. Drills are usually done by 1:30 or 2PM. We are in need of 150 volunteer role players to portray injured victims from an airline accident. This is NOT a paid position. Lunch will be provided for all participants. Join us for a contemporary ballet master class with Jennifer Muselin this Sunday 6/24 from 12:30-2pm at JAM Dance Academy at 35100 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039. $10 with pre-registration at www.clevelanddanceproject.com/workshop-registration.html $12 at the door *Former Ohio Dance Theatre Principle and Soloist, Jennifer Muselin, studied under the direction of Denise Gula for 15 years, thus perfecting her techniques in ballet, contemporary and jazz. As a child while dancing at Gina Saunders Dancecraft Studio, Jennifer trained with former Cleveland Ballet dancers, Cynthia Graham and Joseph Glowick with whom she credits her love for partnering. After graduation, Ms. Muselin attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where she was awarded a scholarship for her Sophomore year. At only 19 years old, Jennifer was awarded an apprenticeship at Chicago's famed Hubbard Street Dance Company and selected to instruct summer intensives with the National Cheerleading Association. Some of Ms. Muselin's credits include Clara and Sugarplum in The Nutcracker, as well as various principle roles that were choreographed for her exclusively. Jennifer has had the pleasure of being partnered by members of the former Ohio Ballet such as Blas Cerda and Luc Vanier, as well as performed works choreographed by Mr. Vanier and Michael Medcalf, formally of the Cleveland Contemporary Dance Company. Ms. Muselin is trained in the Pilates technique which is instrumental in her teachings of both children and adults. She has choreographed shows to include Flower Drum Song, The King and I, Beauty and the Beast, Hairspray, Cinderella and taught summer youth programs at Oberlin College for at risk youths. After a brief hiatus from dance, in 2013 Jennifer began a new chapter in her life and opened JAM Dance Academy, a dance studio focusing on the disciplined fundamentals of ballet technique. She is proud that this fledgling studio has receive such accolades at “Best Dance Studio” in North Ridgeville in 2013-2017 and nominated for “Best Dance Studio” in Lorain County two years in a row. Ms. Muselin is ecstatic to be producing JAM Dance Academy’s third annual production of The Nutcrackerballet this December and choreographing on some of Cleveland’s most talented dancers. Jennifer is most excited to embark on her new venture as Executive and Artistic Director of her newly formed professional contemporary ballet company, Ballet Legato in 2019. 1970s high school production of Guys and Dolls

I'm not from Cleveland originally, but I am involved in community theatre here now. I also work at the vintage store, Sweet Lorain, on W. 69th and Lorain. Today I was pricing a new batch of photos that came in, and there is a BUNCH of photos of a high school production of "Guys and Dolls", dated 1970. Many of the pictures were professionally taken by a photographer in Highland Hts, so it might be a high school in that area. There are a lot of photos of the "gangsters" (I recognized the show immediately by the costumes), some of the women in the nightclub scene, and at least one in Havana. There are also some rehearsal pix. I just wanted folks to know if you were in that production, there are photos from your production for sale, $1 or $2 each. Sweet Lorain is open 12-6 on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Sat, 12-5 on Sunday & Monday. Closed Tuesday. All photos are black & white!
