Hi, all - this is out of left field, but -- as a member of Citizens' Climate Lobby, I am eager to find events and spaces where we can set up a table with information about climate change, sustainability, and ways to help address both! I would greatly appreciate it if anyone is doing a show that has ANY connection with climate action where we could set up a table in the lobby. Heroes By Gerald Sibleyras, Translated by Tom Stoppard Directed by Anne McEvoy Show Dates: January 17 - February 9, 2020 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm and Sundays at 2 pm It is August 1959, France, in a home for retired military men, where World War I vets Henri (Bob Goddard), Philippe (Ron Newell) and Gustave (Robert Hawkes) pass their days gossiping, reminiscing and exasperating one another with harebrained schemes to escape. The play is a softly heroic treatment of three war heroes for whom death is a familiar presence. They decide to take on one final adventure - granted, an impossible and faintly ridiculous adventure - before the outside world completely forgets them. Gerald Sibleyras' Heroes, as directed by Anne McEvoy, runs January 17th through February 9th. Show tickets are $18 for adults, $17 for seniors (60+), and $10 for students (any age with a valid ID) and we're honored to offer special admission price of $15 for Veterans for performances of Heroes. Mad Factory Theatre Company based in Oberlin is looking for a highschool aged electric guitar player for our production of Heathers 101 (School Edition). A couple pit rehearsals in February, Tech starts February 23rd, shows are February 28th through March 8th. Performance location is in Lorain. This is an all teen cast and all teen volunteer pit.
