Audition is now open for the 5 shorts (each 3.31mins long) films, Kill World, we are mostly looking for actresses (and a mix for zombies). Radio on the Lake Theatre continues Sci-Fi Summer, live radio plays performed outdoors at the company's studio at 18516 Scottsdale Blvd. in Shaker Heights. On July 31 at 7:30 pm, ROTLT will present two plays - the H.G. Wells classic The Time Machine, followed by The Hitchhiker, an original radio play that was adapted into one of the best known episodes of The Twilight Zone. Tickets are now on sale, and seats are limited due to COVID protocols. Face masks are not required outdoors, but will be mandatory for anyone using the indoor restroom facilities. The Access Theatre Project, located in Mayfield, OH, welcomes non-equity actors to audition for the role of AGNES for its fall production of A Delicate Balance, by Edward Albee When: Sunday, July 11th, 2:00-5:00PM, via Zoom. Auditions are by appointment only. The Access Theatre Project is open to nontraditional casting. This role will be paid a modest stipend. PRODUCTION INFORMATION: Director: Joe Fath Rehearsals Begin: Late July-Early August. All dates and times will be dependent on actor availability. Performances: In-person October 1-17, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, Sundays at 2:00. ABOUT THE ROLE: Agnes is the main female character of the play. She is a woman in her 50s, well off, and married to Tobias. She is also the mother of Julia and the sister of Claire. Agnes believes herself to be the fulcrum of the family, keeping everyone in balance. She often maintains this balance, or order, by not confronting issues, not taking a stand, and not processing emotions. She tries to keep the peace by not dealing with anything that might upset it.
