LOCAL LORE GHOST WALK AT BROADVIEW CENTER October 20-22, 2023 Broadview Heights Spotlights Theater presents the 6th Annual “Local Lore Ghost Walk” - an immersive, historical theater experience held outdoors on the Broadview Heights city campus, 9543 Broadview Road. Hear from several local “spirits” about their lives (and deaths), true ghostly sightings, legends, and eerie happenings in the area. Because of the nature of this event (outdoors, small groups) it is an ideal way to safely participate in a unique seasonal experience. It will be held Friday/Saturday/Sunday, October 20, 21 and 22, 2023, rain or shine. Small groups escorted by a guide, begin at the theater and make their way around the campus on foot. Walking tours leave every 20 minutes. There will be a campfire (weather permitting) and complimentary refreshments. Tickets are $10 each. SEEKING Youth Actor for local SAG short film! * Age range 8-11 * Open ethnicity, open to all genders I'm seeking a young actor for a role in my next short film, "Ray." Previous acting/on-set experience a big plus. It will be shot in the Youngstown, OH area and is PAID but actor must be local hire (no travel or lodging provided). Shoot is the weekend of Nov 3-5 and actor will be needed for 1-2 half days. MUST have parent/guardian on set. We are filming under the SAG Micro Budget agreement (allowable under the strike) but role is open to non-union & union. Rehearsals will run Mondays - Fridays 6:30-10:00 PM Performance dates are December 8th – 17th. Fridays @ 7:30 PM, Saturdays @ 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM, Sundays @ 2:00 PM. There will be FOUR school matinees, December 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th at 10:30am. School excuse forms will be provided. NON-TRADITIONAL CASTING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ALL ROLES Please prepare an engaging one minute monologue as well as one verse of a traditional Christmas carol, examples: God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Silent Night.
