Beck Center is in need of an Asst. Stage Manager for the run and at least portions of the rehearsal process for the regional premiere "*Really Really*", a stunning and gritty new drama directed by Don Carrier of the Cleveland Play House. The show runs June 2nd thru July 2nd on Fri./Sat. Nights and Sun. Afternoons only. ASM candidate must be free for all final run and tech rehearsals starting May 21st, and be available for at least some rehearsals beginning April 24th,* including Saturday afternoons.* The ideal candidate may have some light lifting duties, so being able to life 40 pounds or so is a plus. IIMMEDIATE OPENING Noble Art Dinner Theater is seeking to immediately cast a M 18-30 for our upcoming production "Countdown to Murder" Role: Scott- A mid 20s physically fit man who has recently returned from active duty in Afghanistan. While on his last patrol, Scott's platoon was ambushed leaving him as the sole survivor. Returning home with some serious PTSD, Scott joins his father and new step mother in their work transforming an old resort hotel into a B&B. Problem is, the resort is haunted and Scott begins seeing the ghosts. The show slowly devolves into chaos with Scott falling in love with one of the ghosts and ultimately deciding the only way to be with her is to take his own life. Actor will be asked to delve into the deep emotions of a character with PTSD. Position is paid. Rehearsals begin immediately as the show is slated to open in less than 2 weeks. HELLCAB is a seventy-minute collection of scenes from a day in the life of a Chicago cabbie. Beginning with a 6:30 a.m. trip by a born-again couple…the cabbie's long day's journey proceeds with fares from, among many others, a dangerous trio of druggies, a piggish mini-capitalist, a benumbed rape victim, an argumentative pair of fellow cabbies, a drunken woman on welfare, a smug lawyer, a randy couple on the way to a motel, and two boisterous New Yorkers out on the town. Alternately frightening, hilarious and poignant, these sharply etched blackouts and cameos…are capped by a stunning and very touching final scene.
