Beck Center Dance Education seeks Ballet Instructor Beck Center for the Arts seeks an experienced and talented individual to instruct ballet classes to diverse students. The instructor will be educating youth and teen students at the advanced, intermediate and beginner levels. Classes will take place on Saturdays September 2016-May 2017. Previous experience working with youth preferred. A BA or BFA in dance, or the equivalent professional experience is required. All instructors must pass a background check before interacting with students. Instructors also must support Beck Center's mission, vision, and values. Instructors are paid a competitive hourly wage, and are entitled to two complementary tickets to Beck Center's professional theater performances. Beck Center is an equal opportunity employer. DHarrison production is in imedite need of a Youth Male preteen -13 years of age as an actor who has musical capabilities. And has at least some education in acting in lead role. No taller then5ft 1 will be expected. Must be able to pass fitness exam. White or tan skin color. Lives with in a hour distance (others may be looked at if match description) from,green Ohio or stark Ohio. Actor mid have basic knowledge of bible. All actors must bring report cards to interview only accept actors who have good grades. *Summer Youth Musical returns to Medina to stage “Alice in Wonderland”* Medina, Ohio, June 14, 2016—For the second year in a row, Summer Youth Musical will present a delightful family-friendly musical “Alice in Wonderland.” Written by Mike Davis, “Alice” will be presented at the Highland High School Performing Arts Center, 4150 Ridge Rd, Medina, OH 44256. Public performances are Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 at 7 PM. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased in advance online at www.showtix4u.com or at the door. The production is also conducting a canned food drive. For each pound of non-perishable food items donated, patrons will receive a discount of up to $2 off per regular ticket. Sayatovich works in the education department at The Cleveland Play House, the recent recipient of the 2015 Regional Theatre Tony Award. Music direction is by Michelle Hujar. After a year and a half, the images were assembled by the museum staff for a celebratory publication, The Cleveland Museum of Art: A Portrait, which was released in the fall of 2014. Character actress, tap dancing required. FRANK 'N' FURTER: Male Transvestite, 25-45 (Range: Baritone, D3-G4) Master of the castle, a transvestite. Obsessed with creating a man to be part of his sexual entourage. Flamboyant, outrageous master of seduction. ROCKY: Male 18-35 (Range: Tenor, A3-G4) Frank-N-Furter’s latest creation. He is “the perfect man with blonde hair and a tan.” Must be very physically fit. EDDIE: Male, 28-50 (Range: Baritone, E3-F#4) Eddie, delivery man, “went to pieces.” Comes back to life only to die after his solo. A leather-clad rocker. DR. SCOTT: Male, 28-50 (Range: Baritone, E3-F#4) Scott is Eddie’s Uncle. Older gentleman and a rival scientist who is in a wheelchair. Strong character actor. 4-6 PHANTOMS – TRANSILVANIANS (SATB) Various Singers/Dancers. NOTE: The roles of Eddie and Dr. Scott may or may not be doubled. Also, we may expand the chorus depending on audition response. IMPORTANT: This show is "R" rated and contains strong language and sexual situations. There is no nudity but there is very skimpy attire for some characters. If you are shy or modest, please just come and see the show. Almost all lead characters of both sexes wear a corset, panties, fishnet stockings, heels and garters in one number. All actors must be at least 18 years old to audition.
