Summer Puppet and Mask Camp — June 20th - June 24th Kids (ages 6-10) & Early Teens (ages 11-14) Mon-Thurs 8:30am-3pm; Fri 8:30am-noon This one-week camp allows students to build puppets and masks, and write their own stories to perform for parents and friends at week's end. All masks and puppets made are theirs to keep. TCT offers three in-house Youth Theatre Arts courses per year. They take place on location at TCT—a 188 seat, ADA compliant theatre located on the eastern edge of the Detroit-Shoreway area of Cleveland's near west side. TCT uses professional artist/educators working in their dedicated fields to teach every class, residency, and workshop. Each artist/educator has been trained to carry out TCT's educational offerings to the fullest, and to ensure that every child involved in its programming is noticed, encouraged to participate, and supported. TCT's artist/educators provide children with the tools to grow and bloom not only artistically, but with the confidence and new awareness that involvement in the arts brings. Talespinner Children's Theatre's inaugural PLAYground, workshops/staged readings of new plays by professional playwrights for youth audiences, will begin casting actors ages 15 and up for four new plays written by Cleveland-area playwrights. Auditions are Sunday, May 15th from 3:30pm - 9:30 pm. Auditions will be cold-readings by appointment in half-hour intervals. You'll only need to be there for one half-hour time slot. "Panache" begins it's 2nd weekend at Clague Playhouse

Clague Playhouse, 1371 Clague Road, Westlake, will present Don Gordon’s quirky and heartwarming romantic comedy *Panache* as the fifth and final production of its 88th season. Kathleen, a Scarsdale socialite, has tracked down Harry, a short-order cook from Brooklyn, in hopes of convincing him to sell his one-of-a-kind vanity license plate. In the course of their negotiations, two people from dissimilar backgrounds discover that, in their quests for life’s intangibles, they may not be so different after all. *Panache* is directed by Chris Bizub. The cast includes Jenny Erbs, Leah Kraynak, Casey McCann, Colin P. McCauley, and Brett Miller. The production runs from May 6 through May 29 on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8 P.M. and Sundays at 2 P.M.
