Popular Music Wanted for CSU Homecoming VikeFest 2015 We are seeking a band that can perform music that appeals to all. >From danceable hits from the past, to music of today. Any size band is welcome. We must be able to hear and see you via video and audio recording in advance of hire. 2015/16 Inclusive Dance Schedule (Saturday Only) Class Description 11:00 am-12:00 pm---Contemporary Ballet. Contemporary ballet is a genre of dance that incorporates elements of classical ballet and modern dance. It employs classical ballet technique, but allows greater range of movement of the upper body and is not constrained to the rigorously defined body lines and forms found in traditional, classical ballet. Students will work on posture, balance, strength, agility, and fluidity in this class. 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm---Performance Ensemble. A class for students who are interested in performance opportunities throughout Cleveland. To participate in the Performance Ensemble, students are expected to attend at least one technique class and must be in attendance at every rehearsal unless prior notice is given. This group has showcased their talents at the Tolerance Fair, Baldwin Wallace half time shows, Autism 4D, and on stage alongside the Dancing Wheels Professional Company. (All Ages) 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm -----Jazz Funk, also called Street Jazz, borrows a lot of movement from other dance styles. From ballet, modern and hip-hop to lyrical, jazz funk incorporates little bits and pieces of other dance genres and wraps it into a funky style that is both fun and expressive! Students will take movements and combine them with current pop culture music. She is a modern day griot. *'Bread --- He is the deceased husband of Mother Sud and the narrator of the story. He is an older man who walks with a hitch and smokes a pipe. *Patricia --- She is the beloved daughter-in-law of Mother Sud. Will --- He is the son of Mother Sud who is a busy politician who is running for public office. {Duel Roles}Mr. Jackson--- A feuding older couple from the neighborhood / Doctor Davidson--- He is the physician who is treating Mother Sud in the hospice. {Duel Roles} Mrs. Jackson/ Sister Cheney ( Church Women) --- A feuding older couple from the neighborhood. {Duel Roles}Morse --- A service man from the neighborhood who marries Keisha. / Doctor Wilhelm --- The first doctor to treat Mother Sud in the hospital. {Duel Roles} Keisha Harden / Sister Bush(Church Women) --- A neighborhood girl who marries a military man who is also from the neighborhood. Pastor Sturgess --- An effeminate church official who used to be homosexual but now claims to be completely “healed” of his homosexual desires by Christ. He is the younger brother Patricia. Pastor Graham --- He is the minister of the church that Mother Sud left years ago. He is also supporting her son who is running in a tight race to get elected. Female High School Students Invited to participate in "The Elephant Man"

Saint Ignatius High School invites young ladies from any area high school to be a part of their production of "The Elephant Man". Auditions for multiple female roles will be on Tuesday. September 1 between 3:30 and 4:40 PM. Auditions will conclude by 5:00. No prior experience is necessary. Best is to bring a prepared or memorized monologue of one to three minutes long. Callbacks, if necessary will be on Wednesday, Sept. 2 from 4:00-5:00. Rehearsals are Monday through Thursday 4:00-6:30. Performances are October 23-25. Young ladies are also welcome to be part of any of the technical crews. Only a select few will be chosen. Must be responsible, patient, energetic, and all around AWESOME! * Singing and dancing required Volunteers will be paired with a student with special needs to guide the actor during the rehearsal process and performance.
