To be considered for the cast, you MUST be available for these dates as well as 3 mandatory rehearsals which fall on the 3 Sundays prior to the event date in Cleveland @ 4:00 PM thru 8:00 PM. This is an interactive play therefore the ability to perform amid the attendees in both scripted and Improvisational scenes are also an absolute must.This is an overnight event, and all meals & lodging for characters will be provided in addition to your pay. Casting... Professor Audrey Wimbledon- Actress: 20's to 30's...Easy on the eyes and smart as a whip with ambitions of bigger and better things, even in the zombie apocalypse. For now she bides her time as assistant to the head scientist Tracker/Hunter Thelma Gooberdine 20's to 40's Easy on the eyes but can track and hunt like no other Hired on by her cousin Queenie as assistant zombie hunter after her family was slaughtered. Thelma hopes to one day track down the zombies that ate her family. Casting Zombie Extras Also in need of several Zombies during specific times throughout the performance. A small stipend and meal will be provided along with a copy of your film footage and photos.

Dobama Theatre Usher Orientation - Thursday, September 3rd - 6 pmDobama Theatre will be holding its Usher Orientation for their 2015-16 Season at 6 pm at the Main Branch of the Cleveland Heights - University Heights Public Library, 2345 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights, OH 44118 in Meeting Rooms A & B on Thursday, September 3rd at 6 pm.The orientation will last approximately 30 to 45 minutes. A light dinner will be provided following the orientation.The Preview performance of our season opener, "Or," by Liz Duffy Adams will take place that evening at 7:30 pm.Attendees may stay for the Preview performance for free (and bring a guest) as long as they sign up to usher for a future performance of "Or," during its run."Or," runs Thursdays through Sundays until October 4, 2015.Dobama ushers are responsible for running concessions and coat check, distributing programs, greeting and seating patrons, assisting with box office and being the front line goodwill ambassadors for the theatre. Ushers are needed not only for our main stage season, but also for our Playwrights' GYM readings, library events held at the theatre and rentals events with Interplay Jewish Theatre, among others.The Preview Performance of each main stage show is an Usher Appreciation Night, with free tickets issued to ushers who sign up in advance to assist with a performance during the run of that show. AUDITIONS FOR LAKESHORE BALLET THEATRE OF LORAIN COUNTY SUNDAY, AUGUST 16TH AT 4:30 TO 6:30 P.M. Lakeshore Ballet Theatre, a non-proft (501-3c) professional youth ballet company is auditioning for 2 more company dancers for their 2015-16 season. Dancers must be aged 13 to 19 years old. Dancers should have strong classical ballet training and at least one year of jazz and/or tap. Dancers must come dressed in ballet attire with hair in appropriate high bun. There is a $10 audition fee due at the time of audition. Must call or email to register ahead of time. Cash or check made payable to Lakeshore Ballet Theatre. Lakeshore Ballet Theatre company dancers rehearse approximately 4 hours a week at our School in Avon Lake, Ohio. Dancers will perform company repertoire throughout Cuyahoga and Lorain County from October 2015 through August 2016. Lakeshore Ballet Theatre's mission is to provide young aspiring dancers with a strong , college prepatory classical dance theatre education. Our dance theatre program gives students a well rounded performing arts education with rich performance opportunities in Classical & Contemporary Ballet, Classical Jazz, Classical Tap & Musical Theatre Dance. Our performances will help young dancers build their dance & theatre resume and portfolio. Cleveland, OH — The new Cleveland Ballet proudly announces an exciting collaborative partnership with Neos Dance Theatre, to launch the start of its preview season at Playhouse Square and beyond for fall 2015. ! ! The Dark Room is an ongoing event held on the second Tuesday of each month. The Dark Room affords emerging and veteran playwrights the space and resources to develop new works. It offers a venue to workshop plays, novels, poems, or any other written work in a supportive, yet critical environment. *Tuesday, August 11th* The Church at CPT (Just east of the Gordon Square Theatre Box Office) Cleveland Public Theatre 6407 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102 *7:00pm: *Sign-up begins for writers and actors (space is limited). Writers names will be drawn randomly at 7:15pm to determine whose work will be presented.
