Hello, fellow theater lovers, My name is Neda Spears and I am reaching out to my fellow patrons to inquire of any and all individuals who would be interested in establishing an awards committee that would then lead to an awards ceremony akin to the Jeff Awards in Chicago or the Barrymore Awards in Philadelphia. The committee would be tasked with attending a certain amount of productions throughout the season and offer recommendations, then nominate performers and productions to be recognized at the ceremony. I am looking to meet with at least 10 people from different walks of life who can offer a unique perspective on watching theater as well as those who wish to offer financial support to the members and as well as the process of procuring a venue for the awards ceremony. Hello friends! My name is Madison Ledyard-King and I am a local filmmaker and actor from Cleveland, Ohio. I recently directed, produced, and starred in a short film called *BLACK BOYS DON'T CRY*. Do you love singing? Are you looking to join a choir? We invite you to consider singing in one of Cleveland's finest musical traditions, The Singers' Club of Cleveland. We are a men's chorus that provides an opportunity for serious non-professional singers to perform a wider and diverse range of choral works. While the primary focus of our organization is musical, we strive for camaraderie and friendship, and the relationships forged between members has been a major contribution to the success and longevity of The Singers' Club. We meet once a week on Tuesday evenings in Cleveland Heights, and regular rehearsal attendance is essential and expected. The Producers of Bare Boys Reading Books Proudly Present GOOD ADVICE Conceived by the Creative Team at Bare Boys Reading Books Directed by: Nick Vannello Production Manager: Brad Speck Show Summary: "Bare Boys Reading Books" is a body-positive literary burlesque show that celebrates the joy of reading and the beauty of the male body. Set in an intimate stage environment, the show features male performers who read selected passages from books while gradually undressing. The theme for the upcoming show, "Good Advice," promises to blend humor, inspiration, and a touch of sensuality as performers peel off layers to reveal not just their bodies, but also their personalities and stories. We are seeking male performers who: Have a passion for reading and can engage an audience with their vocal delivery. Are comfortable with nudity and can confidently undress on stage in a body-positive manner. Can convey emotions and connect with the audience through both their reading and physical presence. Are reliable, professional, and able to attend scheduled rehearsals. Actors must be willing to perform nude. There are two performances per night. One show is rear-nudity only, the other is full frontal. If chosen, you will have two 1:1 Zoom rehearsals with the director before you come to the final rehearsals. There are only two in-person rehearsals the week of the show. Performers should prepare a 2-minute video audition that includes: A brief introduction.
