The producers of AFFLICTION, the Cleveland based inspirational film about tragedy over triumph, needs unpaid extras to fill roles as Cavs fans TONIGHT in a very cool scene in the movie (filming tonight Sat 10/10/15). It's no pay but it'll be fun and won't take a lot of time (we are planning on filming for about 2-3 hours). Extras will get screen credit, too. We will film based on convenience to our extras. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!! This s a great way to break into film easy. This is a legitimate independent film that has garnished support from many reputable constituents. It's a family film. If you are interested please reply with a picture and contact number. We welcome all types and ages, and minors must get parental permission and be accompanied by an adult on set. We are aiming to film this scene tonight SAT 10/10/15. To participate you must have wine, gold and blue colored clothing that a fan would wear, but we cannot film Cavs official logos and trademarks of any kind (no logos or brands--plain colored clothes only). Parma Symphony Orchestra Concert Sunday, October 18th

The Parma Symphony Orchestra will perform aconcert on Sunday, October 18, 2015at 3:00 PM at Valley Forge High School Auditorium located at 9999Independence Boulevard in Parma Heights. Music Director Dr.Randolph P. Laycock will feature Rachel Brandwein, Harp and JudyNaujoks Moore, flute performing: Mozart’s Flute and Harp Concerto in C, K299. Also: Festival Overture on “the American National Air” byBuck, and Grieg’s SymphonicDances Op 64.The orchestra, inits 47th season consists of 75members of all walks of life from all over the entire Greater Clevelandarea. They meet weekly for rehearsals and present at least four concertsannually. General admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniorcitizens. Family passes of $20 are available for families of up to 2adults and their children. All tickets are available at the doorbeginning at 2:30 PM. Among her performance andcompositionaccomplishments are first prizes and grants in numerous regional andnationalcompetitions sponsored by Mu Phi Epsilon, American String TeachersAssociation, andthe American Harp Society.A featuredsoloist at the Ninth World Harp Congress in Dublin, Ireland, Rachel alsotoured Chinawith the Juilliard Orchestra. Since moving from New York to Minneapolis inthe fall of2012, she has performed several times with the Minnesota Orchestra,VocalEssence,the National Lutheran Choir, as well as professional ensembles aroundthe Twin Cities.In the fall of 2013 she embarked on a nine state, fifteen concert tourwith TrioMatisse (flute, cello, harp) as part of the Allied Concert Services Tours andiscontinuing toperform with the trio. She enjoys concertizing with original and arrangedworks with hertrombone partner, Dr. David Peterson, as the Branderson Duo. They were awardeda grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board and in 2016 will premiere acommissioned work by Dr. Paul Salerni as well as complete a residency at LehighUniversity. Her compositions have been performed throughout the country, suchas at the University of Michigan, University of Indiana, University ofMinnesota, WesternIllinoisUniversity, Kansas State University, Sacramento State University, and atInterlochen Center for the Arts where she serves on the harp faculty during thesummer camp programs.Rachel earneddegrees from the University of Michigan (BM), The Juilliard School (MM), andStony Brook University (DMA). She also studied harp and French for one year inParis and Lyon, France. After performing at her doctoral commencement, she wasawarded the prestigious Ackerman Award for Excellence in Graduate Studies forhigh Accomplishment in performance and pedagogy. Rachel's goal as a teacher isto help her students appreciate and fulfill their artistic potential withconfidence, creativity, and dedication. Judy NaujoksMoore has been a member of the ParmaSymphony Orchestra for over 40 years. After graduating from Parma Senior HighSchool, she attended Kent State University, where she studied with fluteprofessor Raymond DeMattia. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in MusicEducation and a Master's Degree in the Art of Teaching. Judy taughtGeneral Music for 35 years in several different schools in theCleveland Metropolitan School District. She retired from Newton D. BakerSchool of Arts where she used her certifications in the Orff-Schulwerk processof teaching music. She also recently retired from her choir director positionat St. Peter United Church of Christ in Seven Hills. Judy enjoys playing in thesymphony with her daughter Alice, a harpist, and son-in-law Darren, apercussionist. She is proud the musical tradition in her family continues withher granddaughter Sydney, who began studying piano two years ago.

Cleveland Heights High School is seeking a Lighting Designer for its upcoming production of Grease. The production will be taking place on November 5-8 in the Auditorium at the former Wiley Middle school campus. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check and be prepared to work with high school students. Students will work as electricians for you as well as work and one will act as your board operator. You should be prepared to work with them as the master electrician as well. Attention Parents of Infants, Toddlers, and Young Children... Ever been curious as to how a cute kiddo lands on the side of some toy packaging, or in an ad or on TV? It's mostly done through model/talent agencies who have relationships with ad agencies, production companies, photographers, and the like. Pro-Model & Talent, an Akron based agency, is currently looking for children ages 8 months to 5 years who would have lots of fun on the set of a photoshoot or a TV commercial. There is no commitment and no expense. Its simple - send us the pics as outlined below. If, and only if, a client is interested, we'll get in touch, tell you the product, when/where, and how much the child will be compensated. If it works - say yes! If not, no worries. Sound like fun? Then read on to see the steps that you will need to take. * You do not need to have professional pictures done for this. Using a camera phone or digital camera at home will work. Keep the photos/images simple and clean that clearly shows your child's personality. Send 2-3 photos/images of your child (keep pictures under 1MB when emailing). Keep photos/images current nothing older than 2-3 months. Some closer, some further away.
