Appropriate for all ages, this little gem is a great family show. Originally created for the American Folklore Theatre—now Northern Sky, *Guys On Ice* It has been produced over a dozen times at the *Milwaukee Repertory Theater,* and was filmed for Wisconsin Public Television in 2014. *Guys on Ice* spends a day in the life of Marvin and Lloyd — fishing buddies and home-grown philosophers. With musical numbers like, "The Wishing Hole," "Ode to a Snowmobile Suit," "Fish is the Miracle Food" and "The One That Got Away", this is a show for the entire family. *The Cast * *Frank Jackman, (Lloyd) *is an *Actors’ Summit Theater* company member. He has performed in over 30 roles over the past 17 seasons. Frank is a voice over artist, and has appeared in commercials for *Dick’s Sporting Goods* and *American Greetings*, among others. He appeared in the 2009 production of *Guys On Ice* for *Actors’ Summit.* *Bob Keefe , (Marvin)* is also a company regular at *Actors’ Summit*. He was last seen in *The Book Club Play* this past February. He has appeared in *Flannagan’s Wake* and *We Gotta Bingo* , both at *Playhouse Square**’s Kennedy’s Down under* theatre space. *Shawn Galligan , (Ernie the Moocher*); recently returned to *Actors’ Summit* where he has appeared in over a dozen shows. Shawn is a stage manager/ actor with the *Northern Sky Theatre *in Door County Wisconsin , where *Guys On Ice* originated in 1998. Good Afternoon!! Playmakers Youth Theatre located in Beachwood is still seeking a Technical Director for Annie Jr. The show will be March 3-14, 2016. This is a paid position. As technical director, you will be responsible for creating the set design from conception to creation, assisting with props, and strike after the run. The major piece of Daddy Warbucks' mansion will already be built, but painting and design will be up to you. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a youth theatre company as a contractor and pick up some extra post-holiday money! *AUDITIONS* Inlet Dance Theatre will be holding two auditions for our upcoming 2016-2017 season. We are looking for professionals and students who are teachable and able to assimilate into our organizational culture and aesthetic. Inlet is a modern dance company with a technical base grounded in Hawkins-based release technique, Pilobolus-based nontraditional partnering, and a collaborative creative process that relies on improvisation skills. Inlet is equally strong in education programming as it is in performing concert and special event work. The company seeks highly skilled dance artists with a desire to educate as well as perform. Inlet Dance Theatre employs a "get to know you" approach to auditions. We are looking to determine fit with Inlet’s culture and aesthetic, as well as create an opportunity for you to see if Inlet’s programming and culture is a good fit for you. The Dark Room is an ongoing event held on the second Tuesday of each month. The Dark Room affords emerging and veteran playwrights the space and resources to develop new works. It offers a venue to workshop plays, novels, poems, or any other written work in a supportive, yet critical environment. *Tuesday, November 10th* *The Gordon Square Theatre* Cleveland Public Theatre 6407 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102 *7:00pm: *Sign-up begins for writers and actors (space is limited). Writers names will be drawn randomly at 7:15pm to determine whose work will be presented. A scene from the play, "Blind Luck," a dark comedy by Joey Bauer will be read at Cleveland Public Theater tonight (12/8) some time between 7 - 9 p.m. Two actors are needed to voice the roles of Jackie Ryan, white, 20 - 25, a blind screenwriter with a deep emotional wound, and Dr. Joan Roth, white, 30 - 40, a psychologist, who is very blunt, yet still quite funny.
