Kent State Fashion School Presents Annual Show "Visionnaire" April 24 and 25 Tickets Still Available for Two Performances Friday, April 24 The Fashion School at Kent State University will present the Fashion School's Annual Fashion Show, "FS2: Visionnaire," on Friday, April 24 and Saturday, April 25. The show, which showcases the outstanding talents of the Fashion School's design and merchandising students, will be held in Rockwell Hall, located at 515 Hilltop Drive in Kent, Ohio. Associate Presenting Partners Dillard's and Macy's will sponsor this year's event. For the Annual Fashion Show, a panel of industry professionals reviewed students' work, which ranges from athletic wear to eveningwear, to decide which collections and looks will be presented on the runway. Merchandising students plan and organize the two-day sequence of events, which includes three runway performances and a VIP reception for donors, which will take place prior to the final Awards Show. Tickets for the evening awards show on Saturday, April 25 are currently sold out. However, tickets are still available for the matinee and evening ("opening night") shows on Friday, April 24. Tickets for the opening night show (April 24 at 7 p.m.) are $50 and may be purchased online<http://www.fashionschool.kent.edu/annual-fashion-show.cfm> or by calling the Performing Arts Box Office (330-672-2787) or visiting them weekdays 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. in the lobby of the Roe Green Center. The box office accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal checks, and cash. Tickets for the matinee (April 24 at 1 p.m.) are $25 and may be purchased in advance from the Performing Arts Box Office. Depending on future availability, matinee tickets may also be sold at the door (cash or check purchases only). At the Colors Audio studios on Route 224 in Akron – we’ll send you directions. What’s it about? I’ll share some of the techniques we use in coaching; we’ll critique various spots and demos; we’ll brainstorm about sales and marketing; and Chris Jensen, proprietor of Audio Concepts, will give us his perspective on the competitiveness of local talent in the now-global talent market.
