Peter Pan will be presented at the Chagrin Falls Performing Arts Center on Friday, Nov. 11 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, Nov. 12 at 2 and 7:30 pm and Sunday, Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. The PAC is located on the 7-12 campus, 400 E. Washington St., Chagrin Falls 44022. Flying by Foy will handle all flight sequences! Directed and Choreographed by Robb Sapp (Broadway: Wicked, Shrek, The Lion King) and Patricia Haynish (retired Music Dept. Chair and Teacher, Chagrin Falls) Open Call for Adults will be Wednesday, Aug. 31 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Chagrin Falls Intermediate School Auditorium, 77 E. Washington St., Chagrin Falls 44022. We are looking for Adults for Key roles, Pirates, and Indians. Dancer are needed! Please prepare 32 bars of a Broadway style song, bring sheet music and shoes for the dance audition. For immediate release October 13, 2016 Dunamis Theater Company Presents: Artist in Unity: An Exploration of Music, Theater, and Visual Art Featuring Paula Vogel’s Hot N’ Throbbing Akron, Ohio- Join the new theater movement in Akron as Dunamis Theater Company celebrates their kick off show Artists In Unity: An Explortation of Music, Theater, and Visual Art. It is a collaboration of Theater, Music, and Visual Art featuring some of Akron’s finest artists. Each night begins with music from various groups such as Light of the Loon, Bad New Benny and the Night Fevers, Natalie Martin, Josephine Marie with Tracey Thomas Shepard, and newcomers Madison Jeannette and The Church of Starry Wisdom. The second half of the night will feature Paula Vogel’s Hot N’ Throbbing directed by .Nici Romo and stars Tyson Sebree, Kathleen Walder, Silina Rivera,Minor Cline and Myriah Wiltrout, Hailed as Vogel’s edgiest play, it is an exploration of society, family, and the human condition. This dark farce brings up the questions of “Obscenity starting at home” and “ The sexualization of the our modern society” Dunamis Theater Company weaves the tale in such a way that you will leave breathless. This fantastic night all takes place at the stunning, historical Rialto Theater , 1000 Kenmore Blvd. Akron, Ohio 44314 The Rialto is one of the oldest theaters in Akron and has been beautifully remodeled by Seth and Nate Vaill to host a wide variety of from music, comedy, and community events. On display at the theater will be visual artistry by photographers, painters, and sculptors for sale. Artists in Unity open November 3rd and runs through the 5th and the following weekend the 10th-12th. The show begins at 7pm for the pre show musical act and the play starts at 8pm. Doors open at 6pm. Intended audiences are for 16 and up or with a parent guardian due to the mature content of the play. The short film "Expired" casting notice! This production is an independent short film which will be shot in Cleveland, specifically around the University Circle area. The project is a short narrative film about murder and revenge. It is a twisting and turning tension film full of unique and challenging characters. Our production team is looking for great actors to create the highest quality content we can. Will be great for crafting a reel. Roles being cast are... *Graham*: Male, between the ages of 20 and 25. He is an average looking person. A face you might lose in a crowd. After the death of his sister he stopped taking care of himself becoming thin and a meek. *Laura*: Female, between the ages of 25 and 35. Should be shorter than 5'9". She is a sex worker. She is attractive but her youth is escaping her faster than she would like. *Vin*: White male, late 30's - early 40's. Close to or over 6' tall. The local loan shark. He is a large brutish looking fellow, not fat but thicker. An overgrown bully type. *The Mayor*: White male, 50 or older. A gentlemanly grandfather type. He is currently campaigning to become an Ohio senator. Despite having all the power in his small town he still want's more. Filming will start within the next month. Hello All You Wonderful Ladies! Please join Steppin' Out as they prepare for their latest musical revue! Auditions will be held beginning in September. Sopranos and altos are asked to call Carol at 216-251-9596 for an audition date and time. Steppin' Out is a female show choir. We do a two hour benefit show every May for non-profit organizations in the surrounding community. We then take a scaled down version of that show and perform in and around Northeast Ohio in nursing homes, Independent Living facilities, Christmas gatherings, monthly meetings, etc. Become a part of this great group, which has the honor of being an award winner in the Fox 8 Glee Competition, and has just celebrated 60 years of performing.
