Auditions will consist of readings from the script. A Skull in Connemara is a dark comedy and is the last chapter of the Leenane trilogy by Martin McDonagh, which include the award-winning, The Beauty Queen of Leenane & Lonesome West, also previously produced by none too fragile and directed by Sean Derry & Alanna Romansky. Rehearsals begin February 20th, every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and possibly one Saturday. A Skull in Connemara opens on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th & runs through April1st. Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays @ 8pm Sunday Matinee 3/26 @ 2pm Monday 3/27 @ 8pm (Ten Performances) All *AEA Members, *AEA Candidates, and Non-Union Actors WILL be equally considered for this role. All non-union performers receive a $500 stipend.

This spring Great Lakes Youth Ballet will be presenting a NEW story ballet, "The Silver Bough"! Based on a Celtic myth, the story revolves around a young girl who, on a walk through the forest, stumbles upon a group of fairies. As she is drawn into their world, she must then take a difficult journey to try and save them and their habitat. TWO GREAT EVENTS AT THE WEST THEATER IN BARBERTON THIS WEEKEND Saturday, January 28th The West Theater will host a Chinese New Years Show. Festivities start at 7:00 with a Jiu Jitsu demonstration by the Academy of Self Defense in Tallmadge. The demonstration will be followed by three Bruce Lee Films, Chinese Connection, The Way of the Dragon a0d Enter the Dragon. Tickets are $8.00 for Adults, $5.00 for Children and Senior Citizens. On Sunday, January 29th we will be having our first monthly Kid’s Day at The West. The 1939 animated movie Gulliver’s Travels will be shown. One adult will be admitted free with a paid child’s admission. Tickets are $3.00. We are also looking for talented people to compete in the First Annual Barberton’s Got Talent Show to be help Friday and Saturday, March 3rd and 4th. A link to enter can be found on the website. VINCENT LIGHTING SYSTEMS Job Posting Outside Sales SUMMARY: Service current and prospective customers by effectively selling products and/or services to meet the customer's needs while achieving profitable outcomes in northern and central Ohio. This is a full-time position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Contact existing and potential customers for sales of theatre and special application lighting systems, related equipment and services, by planning and organizing daily work schedule. * Work with system specifiers in the design and engineering field for assistance in lighting system design, utilizing products offered by Vincent Lighting Systems. * Create and present sales quotes for lighting projects and related equipment/services to customers. * Coordinate and provide information on sales efforts with project management and other internal staff, to ensure proper execution of order(s). * Establish, develop and maintain excellent business relationships with current and prospective customers, vendors and colleagues to create "customers for life". * Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, expense reports, and other necessary paperwork. * Resolve issues by investigating, developing solutions, make recommendations, and follow up with the customer and internal staff to ensure all issues have been resolved. * Create and maintain records pertaining to sales territory and customer sales. * Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending trainings, product demonstrations, tradeshows and departmental meetings. * Other duties as assigned and directed. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION: * Must have a BA or BFA in technical theatre or 3-5 years related experience. * Excellent customer service skills are essential. * Must have the ability to evaluate a customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions. * Must be able to identify, negotiate and close opportunities with profitable outcomes. * Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must. * Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal). * Good territory management and prospecting skills are a must. * A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows are required. * Must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance. * Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record. * Prior technical sales experience and a theatre background is desired.
