Filmmaker Angeline Walsh is seeking a musician or composer to create an original score for her upcoming short film "The Coroner's Assistant", about a young medical student in Victorian England who is drawn into the underground cadaver business. The focuses on a character from Walsh's feature film "A Murder Party", which has been placed in three film festivals since the beginning of 2017 and won Best Indie Feature at the Festigious film festival awards. East Cleveland Theater (ECT) is hosting auditions for “Lend Me a Tenor”, written by Ken Ludwig. We are needing 2 men and 1 woman to complete our casting. *East Cleveland Theater recently won 2 Broadway World awards:* First Place: Best Production of a Drama or Comedy First Place: Best Actor in a Drama or Comedy *Synopsis:* When a world class tenor comes to Cleveland, lives, loves, and relationships are turned upside down, resulting in a comedy farce that no one should miss. *The Roles:* *Max*: Saunders' long-suffering assistant, who is forced to take Tito's place in the role of Othello. This role does sing. *Tito Merelli*: The world's most renowned opera tenor, and notorious ladies man. This role does sing. *Julia*: Chairwoman of the Cleveland Opera Guild, who considers herself a "grande dame." BLOOM by Andrew Morton Directed by Skip Corris Following the death of his father, 15-year-old Daniel and his mother, Lisa, are forced to move to an unfamiliar new city. After a violent outburst at his new school, Daniel's social worker, Michelle, suggests he spend a week working with her father, Bobby, an urban gardener of several abandoned lots in the middle of the city. A week soon turns into a few months, and, as the two men spend the summer tending the gardens, they begin to plant some much-needed hope in a neighborhood plagued by blight and help each other heal some old wounds. PERFORMANCES March 31 - April 9 Fridays & Saturdays at 7PM Sundays at 3PM AUDITIONS January 23 & 24 7PM - 9PM Open call. Actors may prepare a monologue, but is not required. When he passed away in 2005, his former students worked with the leadership at GLTG to create a youth series in his name. To this day, GLTG tech crews are usually made up of students under 18 years of age. Spring session will run March 5-June 3. You can offer classes anytime during that period.
