Regina High School is now part of Notre Dame College. The theatre is located inside the old Regina High School building (now called Regina Hall) - to your left as you enter the driveway. HBTI announces AUDITIONS for its summer productions of *Children of Eden* and *Side Show.* *Sean Grandillo *(TV: The Real O'Neal's, Scream, Law & Order: SVU; Broadway: Spring Awakening) had this to say about his time working with Fred Sternfeld and Bebe Weinberg Katz on *Children of Eden* while he was in high school... "*Children of Eden* was a turning point for me. As an artist, as a person… There's something about this piece and the family it creates that is very special. I came to the show a total novice in the theater, and I left with a confidence and a love for this art form that I never could have imagined. I was thrilled to hear Fred and Bebe are putting the show on again. They were the director and choreographer of the production that meant so much to me a little more than six years ago. My advice is, if you're on the fence, do it. This is the kind of show to do. The kind of show that KIDS are LUCKY to get to do. Our "Come Laugh With Us" season continues with the Marshall Karp comedy "Squabbles. Ably directed by Brad Sales, this play has something for anyone who has ever had one of "those" relatives who just loves to debate everything and anything. Abe, the live-in father-in-law (Dale Hruska) is one such fellow. Life is challenging enough for Jerry and Alice (Mike Frye and Kelly Dillon Blackford), who share their home with him. When Jerry's mother (Bernadette Hisey) must also move in, the gloves are definitely off. The cast also includes Dave Stacko, Mason Adams and Becky Linder, all of whom add to the humor of this fun show. Performances are February 9, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25 at 8 p.m., with 2 Sunday matinees, February 19 and 26 at 3 p.m. All seats are $15. Reservations are encouraged. Hello Folks! The Cleveland Asian Festival will be hosting an Asian Hip Hop or "Asian-Pop Dance Competition for 2017. Please go to this link to find the release form: http://clevelandasianfestival.org/2017/index.php/asia-pop-dance-competition/ *Requirements for the 2017 Cleveland Asian Festival’s Asian-Pop Dance Competition.* 1. 1. Your dance crew must be between 2-12 people. 2. 2. You must use a mix of songs in your routine, a minimum of 2 but do not surpass 6 songs. 3. 3. Each submission must be between 4-6 minutes in length. 4. 4. Please limit your music selection to the following genres: Bollywood (India), C-Pop (China), J-Pop (Japan), K-Pop (South Korea), and Nepali Hip Hop. 5. 5. You may cover dances or choreograph your own routine. 5. 6. All songs must be found in at least one database of the following music licensing companies or their affiliates: ASCAP, BMI, SESAC. 6. 7. At least one member or representative must be 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United States. 7. 8. If selected as a finalist, you must be available on May 20th, 2017 for a live performance/competition of your video compilation. If you do not appear, your position will be offered to the runner up(s). A complete W9 form will be required to claim monetary prizes. 8. 9.
