Finally, during the Paris student uprising of 1832, Javert must confront his ideals after Valjean spares his life and saves that of the student revolutionary who has captured the heart of Valjean's adopted daughter.

What do you do, when all you want to do is what is right for your child? AKRON, OH – On the eve of the admissions cycle for Manhattan's most exclusive private schools, Alex and Greg have high hopes for their son Jake, a precocious four-year-old who happens to prefer Cinderella to G.I. Joe, but as the process continues, Jake's behavior becomes erratic and perplexing, and other adults in his life start to wonder whether his fondness for dress-up might be cause for concern. Ensemble Theatre is calling for scripts as part of our 2017 Cuyahoga Arts and Culture Project: *THE PRICE OF PROGRESS. * *Ensemble Theatre* (as well as other community organizations: i.e.: libraries, coffee shops, bars, and other local theatre venues) will host a series of FREE STAGED READINGS surrounding our production of August Wilson's RADIO GOLF during the month of February and March. We are asking local and non local playwrights to submit a script (or portion of a larger script) that is *10-30 minutes in length that address some of the themes that are prevalent in August Wilson's play RADIO GOLF*. Some of these themes include RACE, GENTRIFICATION, ANCESTRY, THE COST OF RUNNING FOR A POLITICAL OFFICE (personally/financially/professionally), CITY PLANNING, DEVELOPMENT, just to name a few. A2 to Ab4 Eddie Souther: African American Male, mid 20s toearly 40s; The desk chief at the Philadelphia police station and a high schoolclassmate of Deloris who helps get her into hiding. Faces a lot of nerves whenunder pressure, causing him to sweat profusely. He still yearns for Delorisafter all these years, and dreams of being her hero. Strong Belt. Ab2 to B4 Sister Mary Robert: Female, 16-20s; A postulant,abandoned as a baby and raised at the convent. Shy and soft-spoken, but singingwith Deloris lets her find her voice. Consistently perky, “glass is always half full”,enthusiastic, and easily excitable. Monsignor O’hara: Male, late 30s-60s; One of theheads of the convent. Constantly concerned with financial matters, though soulmusic surprisingly puts him in a different mood. Sister Mary Theresa: Female, 40s-early 70s; A nunof the convent, the oldest of the group. Decrepit at a glance, but secretlypacks a punch. Michelle: Female, 20s-40s; One of Deloris'sback-up singers. Lippy and always quick with a retort. Bb3 to F5 Tina: Female, 20s-40s; One of Deloris's back-upsingers. A little thick-headed and naive. The show will be performed by 5 women assuming various roles throughout the show. Actors must be able to create a variety of distinct characters, voices, and physicality from one scene to another. Performance Dates; March 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 2017 Friday & Saturday Evenings 7:30 pm Sunday Matinee 2:00 pm Auditions Dates; February 1st and 2nd 7: 00 pm Call backs February 3rd 7:00 pm Rehearsals begin Sunday February 5th - time to be determined.
