Lorain Community Music Theater announces auditions for... Anything Goes! Looking for a housemate to share a rental with me. *The Time:* March 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018. Open to extending past Nov 2018. Also open to a shorter stay, if needed. *The Place: * Two bedroom apartment (old townhouse, actually). Living, kitchen, dining and tiny half bath on 1st floor, both bedrooms and full bath on 2d floor. Washer & dryer in basement. Parking in back, off street. I’m still doing some furnishing/decorating, but it’s quite livable now, and will look even nicer very soon. Bedroom is unfurnished, but I may be able to help with furniture - we can talk about it if you need it. Bath is shared. Lots of storage in basement. No central AC, but owner may install it soon. Otherwise, window units for summer. Wifi included. No cable, but open to getting it, if wanted. Located near Detroit and 117th, edge of Cleveland/Lakewood. Easy distance to Lakewood Downtown, Lakewood Park, Birdtown, Edgewater, Gordon Square. Easy onto Shoreway, 90, and 71. Plenty of nearby amenities. 24-hour drug store and diner on the block for unexpected late night needs. *The Deal:* $550/month includes all utilities and Wifi, household items. (You cover your own food, toiletries, etc.) Deposit same, 100% refundable upon move-out, if everything stays in reasonable shape. *The Housemates:* Me - 40s, single, straight male professional, still relatively new in Cleveland. School counselor and private therapist for work. Gym, yoga, pilates, bike riding, movies, tv, music, comedy, for fun. Also creative writing – mostly plays lately, but I write all kinds of things. No drugs. No smoking. Rare social drinks only. I work away from home, five or six days a week, pretty predictable schedule, which means you can enjoy some home alone time with reasonable regularity. Generally active, but still making friends in Cleveland. I am a kind, considerate, easygoing, kind, funny, *very* neat and clean, and looking for the same. I am looking fan an actress for a short film that will start production in the Spring. It is a short love story with minimal dialogue, the majority of the film is silent, so the actress must be expressive with her emotions. The location of filming will take place primarily in Akron, with an anticipated 3 day shooting schedule. There will be compensation although not a large sum. If interested send resume and pictures. What: Latitudes Poetry Night Where: Compass Coffee, 647 E. Market Street, Akron, OH 44304 When: Every 3rd Wednesday. This month, February 21, at 7pm. For February, we'll be trying something a little different. You spoke, and we listened! A few months ago, Latitudes asked for your ideas on poetry events in 2018. Overwhelmingly, you told us that you would like to see semi-regular workshop sessions, so here we go! **For February, bring 10-15 copies of one rough draft poem (no more than 1 page, please, to share time with your fellow poets), and we will be having a round-robin workshop session. This is your chance to try out a new piece, and get feedback from your fellow poets. We're hoping this will foster some productive discussion for all, and if we get a positive response, we'll try to incorporate more workshop sessions in the future.
