Need Musical Director!!

Due to scheduling conflicts, we need a paid musical director ASAP for the Penguin Project's Wizard of Oz Young Performer's Edition. The Penguin Project is a special production which uses theatre artists with special needs and disabilities to play all the roles. Each artist is paired with a mentor who will help them learn the role and be by their side for the performance. This is a collaboration between the Penguin Project, St. Joan of Arc Elementary School, and The Chagrin Valley Little Theatre. Currently rehearsals for music and choreography are tuesdays and thursdays 3:30-5:00 at St. Joan of Arc. (there is some flexibility in arrival time) Additional rehearsals will be scheduled according to availability of directors and students The production is going to be held on Saturday April 13th at 7:00 and sunday matinee, April 14th. Sara has assisted at Beck Center for the Arts and Ensemble Theatre on productions including Body Awareness and Angels in America Parts I and II. She was recently seen on stage at Cleveland Public Theatre, Ensemble Theatre, and Beck Center for the Arts. AUDITION CALL FOR LOCAL CLEVELAND DANCERS ON MARCH 15TH The Movement Project is hosting an open audition with Pam Tanowitz. Pam will be auditioning dancers for her upcoming project Recital #1 (five small dances for Cleveland). The Show will occupy historic Pilgrim Congregational Church March 22nd at 7pm and 9pm, and will be influenced by the unique space and individual dancers. Dancers from New York City-based Pam Tanowitz Dance will perform alongside performers from Cleveland’s The Movement Project and those local dancers selected from the audition. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Advanced dancers, with performance experience. Must commit to all the rehearsal times. The work will be all set the week leading up the the performance, as a site specific project.
