Casting Call for Talent- Male and Female (ages 25 and up) We are currently casting talent to appear in several "warehouse shipping" photos for our company's advertising image archive. These will be still photos of people "in action" at a warehouse preparing boxes for shipping. Candidates should be able to stand for a few hours for the shoot and move through the set, handling boxes, taping them up, pulling a handtruck, etc. None of the boxes will be loaded with product so there's no actual heavy lifting but we will be "acting" as if things are busy. Date: October 14th 2020 Times: TBD (potentially 10am start?) Location: Green, OH Is this job paid? YES. Rate is $25 per hour with a 2 hour guarantee. Please submit photos, anything that shows us YOU...does not have to be professional headshots. *COVID related note: We will ask that everyone please arrive in a mask and we will have everyone wear their masks as much as possible but this will involve needing to remove your mask at some points. Their tales, though seemingly disparate, are woven together as the show progresses. This one-act play is told through a series of vignettes. ABOUT THE PLAYWRIGHT Rachel Zake is a writer, actor, and director. A native of Cleveland, Ohio and a graduate of Boston University, Rachel used her degree in advertising and psychology for a few years before moving to Madrid and traveling the world. She landed in LA in 2010 to pursue her first love, acting, before stumbling into published writing. Rachel has published three books: Two People are Coming out of a Building (2014, fiction), The Nomad Diaries (2017, nonfiction), and Pants Off/Dance Off: A Gentleman’s Guide (2019, nonfiction). Rachel is a member of Dobama Theatre’s Playwrights GYM and her plays have been seen onstage at Playwrights Local and other local venues. Rachel has been acting for over 27 years on stage and is a member of SAG-AFTRA, having appeared in many TV shows, films, and commercials. She also served as Director of Playmakers Youth Theatre in Beachwood, OH for approximately four years. Rachel proudly serves on the Hathaway Brown Alumnae Committee.
