Ohio Regional Music Arts and Cultural Outreach (ORMACO) continues its free summer concert series on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 7 pm in Medina’s Uptown Park with Opera under the Stars. Members of the Cleveland Opera Theater return for the sixth season. Enjoy some of your favorite opera tunes, as well as lesser-known works. Also, relish some beloved melodies from operettas and musicals. Soprano Amber Monroe, Tenor Brian Skoog and Bass James Eder will grace the gazebo stage and will be accompanied by Jason Aquila, Music Director for the Voice Performance program at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy this concert. In the event of rain, the concert will be held at The United Church of Christ, 217 East Liberty Street, Medina, OH 44256. Fairmount Center for the Arts 45th Annual Arts Exhibition: Call to Entry

*Novelty, OH: *Fairmount Center for the Arts, a non-profit community center for the arts, is pleased to announce call to entry information is now available for their 45th annual art exhibition! Art Entry will be Saturday, July 31, 10am-4pm and Monday, August 2 from 12-8pm. The arts exhibition will be held from August 9th-August 26th, 2021 with a closing reception from 6:30PM-9:00PM on August 26th. This exhibition is free and open to the general public. Artists are invited to enter their artwork in numerous categories for an opportunity to have their work presented and judged. Monetary prizes will be awarded, including $1000 for Best in Show, $200 for 1st place, $100 for 2 nd place and multiple honorable mention awards. In recent years, Fairmount has received up to 350 pieces of artwork with 150 works on view for the general public. This successful event is a great opportunity for community recognition, and provides further opportunities to be featured at Fairmount in a show and/or on social media in the future. Chloe can no longer tell the difference when reality collides with her dream world. Only the DreamWalkers can forge a path through this immersive journey of grim ancestries and unsettling futures. Can we outgrow the sins of our ancestors, or are we stuck in the trap of everlasting nightmares? Help Chloe untangle the vivid and strange plotlines of her subconscious. But be careful; in exposing these secrets you may risk life and limb and stay forever lost in Chloe’s slumber. Directed by Cleveland local Dan Hendrock, with a story by Beth McGee, and with additional story elements by Christine Woods and Carol Dolan. Production design by Ben Needham, and line producing by Adam Kern.
