Don't forget! We are holding auditions for our first show of the season, *Early One Evening at the Rainbow Bar and Grille* by Bruce Graham, directed by Judy Kaye! Auditions will be held on *August 24th & 25th at 7pm* in the *Independence Community Theater building*. Auditions will include cold reads from the script. Call backs will be the following evening upon request. Important dates to note: *Covid protocol will include masks to be worn during the auditioning process. The position covers the overlapping areas of marketing communications, engagement, and development work. This staff member will work closely with the two co-directors of the festival, as well as with sub-contractors, vendors and seasonal staff according to the festival cycle. * Marketing: primary staff contact supervising marketing, website, and social media subcontractors for the festival. During the off-season, will serve as the communications/marketing lead for the organization, including press/media relations, content creation and brand promotion. * Engagement: work with the BorderLight team to identify and develop new audiences for the festival, while actively supporting and reporting on the organization's audience development and community engagement goals as we aim to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive festival. * Advancement: assist with sponsorships, donor/patron database management, development communications, sponsor/donor recognition, benefits tracking, and board engagement efforts. Terms: Part-time position from October 1, 2021, with longer hours and pro-rated pay during biennial festival season. Must be flexible with variable hours and available for occasional evening and weekend work. Job is often remote. Part time base pay is $19,000 per year, averaging approximately 80 hours/month. AUDITION NOTICE PLAYWRIGHTS LOCAL www.playwrightslocal.org Millwood Outpost Written by Tom Hayes Directed by Rachel Zake Rehearsals: February 12 - March 17, 2022 Performances: March 18 - April 3, 2022 Location: Creative Space at Waterloo Arts, 397 East 156th Street, Cleveland, OH 44110 Playwrights Local is casting for the premiere production of Millwood Outpost, a new play by Cleveland-based author Tom Hayes. In this drama, six highway workers are forced by stormy weather to share one room in an abandoned Department of Transportation outpost. Over the course of several hours, the men must confront their own fears, prejudices, and beliefs, and those of each other, while elemental forces outside threaten them all. This production will be directed by Rachel Zake, with rehearsals beginning on February 12, 2022 and performances ending on April 3, 2022. Auditions are available by appointment or on a walk-in basis. Open casting call for Cleveland web series

My team and I are currently searching for two actors (male or female) between the ages of 20-30 to play the lead characters in an episode of a web series about the city of Cleveland. Improvisational skills are strongly preferred, but not a requirement. The shoot will take place on Sunday, September 19th, beginning at 9:00 am, and will last for most of the day.
