CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM WILL HOLD AUDITIONS FOR THE ROLE OF GABRIEL ANGELFOOD (male 20s, 30s) in The Reckless Ruthless Brutal Charge of It, or, THE TRAIN PLAY --- THIS THURS, APRIL 30 at 7 pm and SAT, MAY 2 at 11 am. The production, directed by con-cons Artistic Director, Clyde Simon, will open Fri, June 26 and run Thurs-Sat at 8 pm thru July 18. A brief synopsis is below: Late at night somewhere in America, on a train hurtling towards infinity, eight strangers meet. A twelve-year-old with the powers of a comic book heroine manipulates time and the lives of a jaded Earth Goddess, an unraveling physicist fleeing a terrifying truth shes only glimpsed, an man (Gabriel Angelfood) on the lam from predatory angels, a reluctant travel writer and three Russian brothers on a musical mission. While they ride, the destruction of the universe looms as they speed along a comic-poetic collision course with time, history, and a supernatural climax. Auditions will consist of readings from the script, at convergence-continuums performance space, The Liminis Theater, 2438 Scranton Rd, Cleveland 44113, in the historic Tremont neighborhood. Review of "Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo" at Ensemble Theatre

Ensemble Theatre's 'Bengal Tiger' prowls rather than pounces Bob Abelman Cleveland Jewish News, The News Herald, The Morning Journal Member, International Association of Theatre Critics At the center of the Ensemble Theatre performance space is a mangled, metallic cage in what is the bombed-out Baghdad Zoo during the Gulf War. The cage's lone inhabitant - a grumbling and profane Bengal tiger (played by a captivating Michael Regnier, sans animal costuming) - reflects upon the senseless slaughter of the lions. They were recently killed by gunfire upon their foolish but instinctive attempt at escaping confinement. Upon his own meaningless demise, the result of an equally foolish and instinctive act, the tiger discovers that his cage extends into the afterlife. He remains earth-bound to lament all the killing his primal urges inspired and ponder existential thoughts. In fact, all the characters in Rajiv Joseph's 2010 Pulitzer Prize nominated drama "Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo" are trapped within their own personal cages from which there is no escape. Despite a fine script, this production's many solid performances, and Ian Hinz's simple but effective set/projection design and Andrew Eckert's lighting, much of the play's tenacity and tension never surface. Hathaway Brown Theatre Institute (Shaker Hts., Ohio) is seeking to fill several positions for their Summer 2015 season *Technical Designer* (June 1st through August 14th). Responsibilities include execution of set construction and painting for two proscenium main stage productions and one black box production. Scene Shop and tools are provided. TD will work directly with the Scenic Designer and Production Manager to determine construction needs and maintain budgets. Hours are flexible but construction deadlines must be met. Other duties as requested including restoration of theatre and work spaces at the end of the season to pre-season conditions. Some assistance available for build and painting. *Vocal Music Instructor* ( June 11th through August 7th) Part-time faculty position which may include all or some of the following: Teaching music (grades 1-4), vocal technique (grades 5 - college) and co-teaching vocal audition classes (grades 5 - college). Candidate must be able to play the piano, assist with music selection and accompany students during audition technique classes. Bachelor's degree required and experience in musical theatre helpful. The Watchers (a segment of Fallen Angels) have begun to do their dirty work among humans to re-gain control they once had over mankind long ago. They also have a goal of releasing other Watchers. The Archangels arrive secretly in human form to arrest them and place them back into an extra-dimensional pit. But the Watcher’s do not give up without a fight. The web series will have a conglomerate feel of shows like “Supernatural” and “Star Gate.” There will be some fighting and special effects. *NOTE*: Extras will be needed in a couple of episodes as the residents of a small town, as well as non-speaking roles –any race--on the side of the Watcher’s. Fight/stunt experiences a plus but not a must. You will fight on the side of SAMJAZA, the leader of the Watchers. *Roles still available:* *Zohar*- (Between 25-35)Caucasian male. Tall. Think of a young Nikola Tesla with an accent. Very classy. Takes pride in his work. He is also a scientist angel of the Ophanim creator class of angel who was a colleague of Oren before the Heavenly wars. He sides with the archangels and is after Oren. *Uriel*- (Between 25-35) Any Race. One of the Archangels. Warrior-like disposition. *Oren*- (Between 25-45) Caucasian male. Tall. He is from the Ophanim creator class of angel. Oren is a scientist angel with Nazi flare. Has German/Austrian accent or *simply a detectable accent.* Or a “Red Skull” like in “Captain America.” His look is *similar *to (But not limited to) real life Nazi war criminals ( Ludwig Fischer/Bruno Tesch/Werner Von Braun/Dr.Irmfried Eberl) **A Badass role.* *Dr. Caspar Van Aachen*- (Age 55 and up) Caucasian male. Father of Dr. Runi Van Aachen. Caspar is a professor of archeology and history. Believes in forbidden archeological findings outside of traditional academic acceptance. Has a run in with Oren. **This role is for the first episode.** *Elisa Taggart*- (Between 20-25) Attractive. Any race or Biracial Latina or African-American/Caucasian mix. The love interest of Turel. It is not known to her that Turel is a Watcher.
