THE GAME’S AFOOT OR HOLMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS OPENS ON APRIL 29 AT TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH IN CLINTON The Place- Trinity Lutheran Church, 7595 Middle Street, Clinton, Ohio The Dates- April 29-30 May 1, May 6-8 The Times- Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, Sundays at 3:00 The Prices- Adult $10.00; Seniors and Children under 12 $8.00 Ken Ludwig’s raucous comedy, The Game’s Afoot or Holmes for the Holidays, will be presented by the Canal Fulton Players at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clinton on six days in late April and early May. Ludwig’s plays have been performed by the Players on two separate occasions and were well received by the audiences who saw Moon Over Buffalo and Leading Ladies. This play deals with a Broadway cast performing an episode of the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes right before the Christmas holidays in 1936. At the end of the performance, William Gillette the actor who plays Holmes is shot when he is addressing the audience. He is wounded and the cast comes to his extravagant mansion in Connecticut two weeks later to cheer Gillette up and to celebrate the Christmas holidays. After all the guests arrive, one of them is killed and with the police and Gillette who insists on playing Holmes in pursuit all of the remaining guests are treated as suspects. Who did it and why? In this one, the butler is given the night off so you cannot blame him. This Samuel French play is produced by David Van Gaasbeek and directed by Shelly Rayborn. The cast includes Zach Donahue as Gillette, Charles Bonakoski, Geri Marken, Madison Witte, Hunter Rapp, Matt Farkas, Kathy Devus and Jim Hagan as the Inspector who is trying to solve the murder while dealing with Gillette who is constantly interfering as he thinks he is actually Sherlock Holmes. This raucous comedy will make you laugh as the characters give confessions before recanting them. No matter what, the ending of the play will totally surprise you. OTHT Presents "Moon Over Buffalo"

Olde Towne Hall Theatre in North Ridgeville, Ohio presents "Moon Over Buffalo" written by Ken Ludwig and directed by Lisa Carter. This fast-paced and energetic night of entertainment follows the antics of a dysfunctional theater troupe, of which several are presented the hope of famed film director Frank Capra possibly casting the two for a movie if they can put together a presentation piece despite seemingly unending miscues. Cleveland Play House is holding joint 2016-17 Season General Auditions for local actors, with Dobama Theatre. You will be able to be seen by both companies with a single audition. These auditions are by appointment only. Open to non-Equity and Equity actors. This open call is for the theatres' seasons in general. Performers will be contacted at a later date should the opportunity to audition for specific productions and roles arise. Young Performer (under age 13) auditions for CPH's production of A Christmas Story will be held in August. *Adult Summer Dance Intensive Training* Dancing Wheels Company & School offers a two week Adult Summer Dance Intensive Training for dancers and dance enthusiasts 15 years and older. The first week of this intensive workshop includes instruction in composition, improvisation, repertory, and the Dancing Wheels technique based on traditional modern dance that is translated and adapted for dancers with and without disabilities. New this year, the second week curriculum will focus on training based on our teacher-training manual. We will take participants on a step-by-step guide of how to perform and teach our specific technique. Participants may register for the first week, the second week, or both.
