Lewis Accepting Video Submissions until Saturday July 2, 2022 Dates of Production: August 5-7, 2022 Production Location: Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio Rehearsals and performances will be in person. Accepting submissions from all actors. If you do not know how to play Spades, you will be taught for the performance. Spades workshop is July 11-15, 2022. Rehearsals begin July 18, 2022 in Akron, Ohio. Actors should be available from 5:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday until the one (1) week prior of performance. Tech Week rehearsal will vary based on needs of the performance. We are looking for African American actors, both male and female, can play ages 22-60. *a message from Sarah May to the theatre community...* “Remembering Paula Duesing” Many of us were left in shock when former Cleveland Play House company member, area actress and dear friend Paula Duesing died suddenly last August in Rhode Island. All are invited to attend a celebration of Paula’s life on Saturday, July 2 from 2:00-4:00 when her daughters Morgan and Bryn Grey will return to Cleveland to share fond memories with friends and colleagues who knew their mom. Please join us in Ensemble Theatre’s new home: The Performing Arts Center of Notre Dame College, 4545 College Avenue, South Euclid, OH 44121. It is off of Green Rd. Follow the signs back to the historic Administration Building. As Paula disdained the idea of a formal service we will gather and improvise with Love & Laughter, Cheers & Tears; stories will be told, toasts will be made, and hugs will be shared. Oh, and he can sing. - *Mantis Shrimp: *40s – 50s, a non-Black person of color… Latinx, Asian, MENASA, or Indigenous. Male. A corporate, self-help, motivational speaker. Wild. Intentionally weird. I'm looking to hire a Barbershop Quartet for a performance at an Assisted Living residence in Beachwood, Ohio on Wednesday, July 13 (National Barbershop Music Appreciation Day) from 2:00 - 3:00. Can be slightly flexible on the time, like 2:30 - 3:30. We can pay $200 for a quartet. Must be able to perform for 45 mins - 1 hour, and have a smooth "show" with set patter, etc. In other words, must be an established Barbershop group who has done shows - can't just be thrown together.
