2017 CASTING CALL FOR LOCAL HOSTS AND BACK-UP PERFORMERS: Fusion. Marketing Group is looking to expand our talent base by adding additional talent. Previous dance experience is preferred but not required for both hosts and back-up performers. The majority of our live shows and events are based in Northeast Ohio, but we perform nationwide. A flexible schedule is appreciated. Past appearances have included Downtown Cleveland's Winterfest Celebration, First Night Columbus, Boo at the Zoo, the Rock Hall Induction Ceremony festivities and more. The audition will take place Feb. 15. Male Dancers needed for MorrisonDance project “In the Space of Dreaming” to premiere at Cleveland Public Theatre

MorrisonDance is seeking to add MALE dancers/performers to our unique dance ensemble for our new project “In the Space of Dreaming” to premiere during Cleveland Public Theatre’s DanceWorks ’17, June 1-3, 2017. In line with MorrisonDance’s goal to synthesize a breadth of dance styles, auditioning performers may have experience in any movement style; however, training in modern, ballet, and/or jazz techniques is preferred. Performers must be 18 or older and have prior performance experience. The project will be heavily rooted in contemporary techniques, improvisational and experimental development, ensemble work and nontraditional partnering. Interested dancers, please submit your resume, photograph (headshot and body shot if available) and any available video links to help us get to know you as a performer! Performers will be required to attend weekly rehearsals and must be available during the week of technical rehearsals, Monday, May 29- Wed May 31, and for the performances on Thursday June 1 – Saturday, June 3. With Direction and Musical Direction by Jordan Cooper, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a wacky, energetic, hysterical musical comedy conceived by Rebecca Feldman with music and lyrics by William Finn, a book by Rachel Sheinkin and additional material by Jay Reiss. The show centers on a fictional spelling bee set in the geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School. Six quirky adolescents compete in the spelling bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups. Hartford Stage Seeking Properties Apprentice

To Whom It May Concern at NEohioPAL, I'm reaching out to see if you know any soon-to-be college graduates that have a particular talent and focus towards a career in prop making? Hartford Stage's Apprenticeship Program is currently accepting applications, until March 1, 20107, for all of our apprenticeships in every department. However, we have a particular need for a properties apprentice applicant for the 2017-2018 season. This is the very program that I did the season following undergraduate graduation (as an education apprentice). I recommend it for any young artist seeking a great professional foundation and foot into the industry. Below please find the properties apprentice description: Properties Apprenticeship The properties apprentice will work within the prop department and will be an active participant in the creation and implementation of the designs for each show as well as learning new skills and techniques while working with top directors and designers. Duties include but are not limited to crafting, researching, purchasing, shop and storage maintenance and organization, as well as assisting with rentals, shop improvement projects and working load in and strike. Ideal candidate will have a degree in art, design and/or theatre arts, with experience working on collegiate or professional productions. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, as well as the ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
