Open to all educators or other community leaders (librarians, PTA members, community organizers) with an interest in knowing more about the Talespinner Children's Theatre Educational Outreach Tour, "The Brementown Musicians." This past year, Talespinner Children's Theatre's fifth season, has meant growing the scope of our touring production, expanding our educational and outreach programming, and forging community partnerships with the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland, The Centers for Families & Children, and The Children’s Museum of Cleveland. Moving into 2017, we look forward with great anticipation to adding to the number of schools, libraries, and family groups that we will be able to share our arts education programs with, in so many ways. Join us on February 9th, 2017 at our home in the Reinberger Auditorium for a pre-show reception including light refreshments, and a performance of our 2017 touring production, "The Brementown Musicians," (which runs approximately 25 minutes) accompanied by a talk-back with myself, the actors and creative team. This event should prove to be a light-hearted, informative, and imaginative way for you to sit back and relax, and to get to know us better. The reception will begin at 6pm, and The Brementown Musicians will begin at 7pm. VINCENT LIGHTING SYSTEMS Job Posting Outside Sales SUMMARY: Service current and prospective customers by effectively selling products and/or services to meet the customer's needs while achieving profitable outcomes in northern and central Ohio. This is a full-time position. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Contact existing and potential customers for sales of theatre and special application lighting systems, related equipment and services, by planning and organizing daily work schedule. * Work with system specifiers in the design and engineering field for assistance in lighting system design, utilizing products offered by Vincent Lighting Systems. * Create and present sales quotes for lighting projects and related equipment/services to customers. * Coordinate and provide information on sales efforts with project management and other internal staff, to ensure proper execution of order(s). * Establish, develop and maintain excellent business relationships with current and prospective customers, vendors and colleagues to create "customers for life". * Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, expense reports, and other necessary paperwork. * Resolve issues by investigating, developing solutions, make recommendations, and follow up with the customer and internal staff to ensure all issues have been resolved. * Create and maintain records pertaining to sales territory and customer sales. * Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending trainings, product demonstrations, tradeshows and departmental meetings. * Other duties as assigned and directed. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION: * Must have a BA or BFA in technical theatre or 3-5 years related experience. * Excellent customer service skills are essential. * Must have the ability to evaluate a customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions. * Must be able to identify, negotiate and close opportunities with profitable outcomes. * Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must. * Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal). * Good territory management and prospecting skills are a must. * A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows are required. * Must maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance. * Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record. * Prior technical sales experience and a theatre background is desired. Extremely protective aboutkeeping her sisters away from the outside world, which puts her in directopposition to Deloris and her musical teachings. D3 to E5 Curtis: African American Male, 30s-40s; A clubowner, notorious gangster, and Deloris's boyfriend. Cocky and controlling,always on the verge of violence. A2 to Ab4 Eddie Souther: African American Male, mid 20s toearly 40s; The desk chief at the Philadelphia police station and a high schoolclassmate of Deloris who helps get her into hiding. Faces a lot of nerves whenunder pressure, causing him to sweat profusely. He still yearns for Delorisafter all these years, and dreams of being her hero. Strong Belt. Ab2 to B4 Sister Mary Robert: Female, 16-20s; A postulant,abandoned as a baby and raised at the convent. Shy and soft-spoken, but singingwith Deloris lets her find her voice. Consistently perky, “glass is always half full”,enthusiastic, and easily excitable. Monsignor O’hara: Male, late 30s-60s; One of theheads of the convent. Constantly concerned with financial matters, though soulmusic surprisingly puts him in a different mood. E3 to G4 Sister Mary Lazarus: Female, late 20s-late 60s; Anun of the convent and the head of the choir. Rather deadpan and the leastwelcoming of any of the nuns, but she gets caught up in Deloris's performancestyle. Raps. F3 to B4. Sister Mary Theresa: Female, 40s-early 70s; A nunof the convent, the oldest of the group. Decrepit at a glance, but secretlypacks a punch. Michelle: Female, 20s-40s; One of Deloris'sback-up singers. Lippy and always quick with a retort. Bb3 to F5 Tina: Female, 20s-40s; One of Deloris's back-upsingers. A little thick-headed and naive.
